Commenti: my experience using cmdbuild was so good. although my basic is informatics, but I am not very good at programming, this cmdbuild makes it easy for me to build asset management applications without having to understand more deeply in programming

what I like the most about cmdbuild is that I only need to configure it to create an asset management application. no need to be programming. just do the configuration so I can design the asset management application according to what I need.
Aspetti negativi:
What did I least about this software is that when I want to display a dashboard that matches my data, I have to first create a function in postgresql. The sample function provided from cmdbuild already exists, but it should be reproduced so that it can be used without having to create your own function.

Excellent data model
Commenti: We set up our own custom data model in CMDBuild. Expanding and changing it has been very easy.

The data model is incredibly flexible, fast and easy to set up.
Aspetti negativi:
A little hard to install if you are not familiar with it. Documentation on more advanced concepts are a little bit lacking, like how to set up your own context menus, forms, dashboards, advanced views and reports.

It is "Opensource".. Database modeling, workflow, connectors for external systems all in one product and most important thing is we can track the complete life cycle of the asset

Flexible solution for storing a wide variety of company data
Commenti: The new 30/3.1 versie is very usable already but regularly bugs need to be fixed. New bugfix versions are release often. I am very pleased with the helpdesk: they are reponsive and helpfull, also they communicate with the developpers to get annoying bugs fixed quickly.
Aspetti positivi:
It is very easy to create forms with related database tables. Also the relationship between de tables may be defined in an easy way. The software is very flexible and customizable. I have not used half of all options.
Aspetti negativi:
Documentation is always a problem. Although quite some documentation is available, it lacks concrete instructions on how to get complex matters working.
