Commenti: Our relationship with Azuga has been positive from day ONE. When we have had an issue, they are handled it quickly and professionally. A superior company to work with - they make their customers feel valued (unlike others in the industry that require long terms contracts that automatically renew).

Aspetti positivi:

The product from Azuga is the most valuable on the market. Even though it is very reasonably priced, the features offered from Azuga are far more valuable than its price. We have used competitive products, but Azuga - by far - is the best value for the money. Cannot recommend a product of this type any higher.

Aspetti negativi:

nothing - we have had no issues with the product and no complaints. Customer service is outstanding.

Good inexpensive tool to track fleet

Aspetti positivi:

Azuga is an inexpensive solution that is easy to implement. Breadcrumb view allows us to track where our vehicles are currently, where they have been, and what turns were made in transit. We get lots of alerts on speeding and other activities which allow us to follow up with drivers. We also get alerts on check engine light and maintenance reminders.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish there were more options with geofences. For example, our fleet will regularly leave its branch office and return within an hour, and that's pretty normal. I would like to be able to send a geofence alert to admins when a vehicle is gone for more than 1 hour, but not send an alert every time it leaves the office during business hours. You can set an alert for vehicles that have been gone for too long, but in that case you are required turn on alerting every time it leaves. This results in a lot of alert noise which we don't need. Also, it would be nice to create time based custom alerts (e.g. vehicle ignition is turned on or leaves a geofence after hours). I also think the jobs interface could be improved more, for better dispatch and route optimization for drivers. e.g. Address Book and route plotting options through the web gui.

Look Elsewhere, Contracts, Fees, Bad Software

Commenti: Only 4 months in I sent an email completely disappointed with service stating that I felt lied to by the sales team and that I would not recommend their services. We have left Azuga at the end of the 2 Year term due to non functioning software and now they are trying to stick us with a $900 cancellation bill for camera devices that we later added to try out. Keep in mind that the cameras had many issues as well. We will more than likely have to seek legal advice. They are not sending the shipping label, I feel that they are delaying this part of the cancelation process to charge us more money for unreturned devices, so we will return them ourselves with proof of receipt. Also they do not attach Terms of Service to the actual Contract that you sign, they have a web address on the "contract" to view the terms online... This could be EDITED at any time online, so be weary of this company.

I initially chose this software for the reports that were available, although reports that did not function properly. Watch out for the overpromising Sales Associates.

Aspetti negativi:

I do not recommend this company due to lack of daily functionality, inability to evaluate software issues and make corrections, and customer service or the lack of, and the stone age rationale of trapping customers in Long Term Contracts. If their software actually worked, they would not need a contract. Things did not start off well, as they messed up our start / billing dates, this was a kick off to many hours of dealing with inept customer service. Some of the many issues are Landmarks not showing on reports, inaccurate time readings between the Trips report and the Breadcrumb report, communication issues with customer service reps, excessive emails, failure of GPS network connection to devices (which they had no failsafe or idea).

Extremely helpful tool if you have more than 1 vehicle

Commenti: We are extremely pleased with Azuga, and will continue to use them. The devices have paid for themselves in fuel savings and customer satisfaction.

-Know EXACTLY where your drivers are located. -Get alerts if your drivers are speeding, or driving in an aggressive manner which uses more fuel. -Manage vehicle idle time which wastes fuel -Have the ability to tell the customer exactly where their delivery is when they call asking "where is my item"?

Aspetti negativi:

GPS device is not built very tough. In the event that you need to swap out the device for some reason, it's pretty easy to bend the pins inside, or if it gets dropped, it will shatter easily. However, if this happens, Azuga will promptly get you a replacement (for a small shipping fee).

Tracking at its simplest

Commenti: Overall the software and devices have worked amazing the beacon cards that detects the drivers that are driving on each vehicle is just great too how everything worked seamlessly.

Aspetti positivi:

The simplest thing to do and set up it was literally plug and play all that was needed to keep record of some serial numbers but what a breeze and they start working right away.

Aspetti negativi:

The one thing that i didn't like was the ability the software has to assign admins to the page it makes it difficult to add managers and they can't really see the drivers that admin has created only but the admin.

Azuga does not even deserve one star! I regret to say that my experience with them has been deeply disappointing. Not only did they exhibit poor communication throughout our interaction, but there were also blatant discrepancies between what was promised in our contract and what was delivered. Their lack of transparency and failure to uphold their end of the agreement was disheartening. Despite assurances made in the contract, the actual service fell far short of expectations. Attempts to address these issues were met with further miscommunication and a lack of accountability. I cannot in good conscience recommend Azuga based on my personal encounter. Potential customers should be cautious and thoroughly investigate any agreements before engaging with this company.

Has Worked Great For Us!

Commenti: We have used other trackers before and this one has been the most easy to use and it is nice to be able to log in to it from anywhere. I use it everyday, all day to track my guys to make sure I know where they are at and it helps me schedule them to their next call.

If I had to say something we are always trying to get our costs lower so the cost could be a little lower.

Very Easy to Use

Commenti: Overall the experience with Azuga has been an easy one. Customer service has been easy to reach if needed. The device and web interface are simple and easy.

This device and it's web portal make it easy to track vehicles in real time and in past time.

Aspetti negativi:

Sometimes Google Maps (which is what Azuga uses) gets the addresses wrong. It might call a city by its township or county.

Best in Customer Service

Commenti: We are able to stay more on top of our vehicle maintenance, and closely monitor any idle time to save our company money. The best part by far is the customer service I've received especially after coming from another fleet management company that was lacking in this department. The originally salesperson I dealt with, Francis, is extremely responsive, helpful, and kind.

My favorite part about the software is the alerts for speeding and hard braking, and the reports we receive on the engine and battery health of our fleet.

Aspetti negativi:

Only downside for me is that they can be easily removed and accidentally removed when pulling the e brake in some of our trucks.

Plenty of Useful Bells & Whistles

Commenti: Azuga has done a good job servicing us and explaining optimal utilization. We are a seasoinal fleet in Higher Education and like the ability to suspend service intermittently.

The telematics are robust and we have had great success in managing our vans towards safety and consistency in driving practices.

Aspetti negativi:

Overall, the entirety of the GPS data/functionality can be used in all of our vans - on the older vehicles we have the diagnostics codes slightly limited.

Dash Cams and GPS Trackers

Aspetti positivi:

It is easy to use the picture is clear.

Aspetti negativi:

The software is not what it seems. They say they have live streaming but when you need a video you must request it and you have to pay for it. The customer service really sucks, if you have a problem, they give you the run around or tell you other departments handle it. The other departments never contact you to handle anything and when you call them for help, they never answer the phone. One of our vehicles got into an accident and our dashcam did not record the accident, it took this company an entire month to tell me that the dash cam was not recording anything and they did not have anything on their server. So now we have a lawsuit and no video evidence to prove that our driver was innocent. It also took them two months to send us a replacement camera for one of our vehicles, one sales person claimed they did not have the camera in stock but the other sales person said they do have it in stock, he sells cameras every day so he knows what they have. Overall, this is the worst company to use for your fleet tracking and dash cam service. They have poor customer service and they are not responsive what so ever.

Commenti: After over a year of frustration I finally got a manager to assign me a customer service agent in the US who could fix the spreadsheet of many issues needing corrections after much effort on my part.

I like the pricing the most for the product. I put up with the problems because of the pricing.

Aspetti negativi:

Dealing with customer service in India has been the most challenging part of my experience. They are nice and say they’ll send a return shipping label & never do without months of multiple follow up emails & calls. I don’t like that we have to pay for 30 extra days after a device is not being used & cancelled.

Aspetti positivi:

The ability to track and maintain vehicle records is important for many businesses. Azuga allows this to happen with little training of office teams nor drivers. Encouraging safe driving behaviors has kept vehicle incidents to a minimum.

Aspetti negativi:

The mobile access can be clunky by not updating to our geography and keeps vehicles "nested" on top of each other when they are close to each other.

More than expected

Commenti: I am part of the Oregon experiment in paying by the mile for transportation infrastructure.

Aspetti positivi:

I'm a user who just wanted to be sure I paid my fair share for the transportation infrastructure I rely on. I signed on to Oregon's taxes by the mile program using Azuga. Recently I went from an older, traditional vehicle to an all electric Kona and simply notified the state and transferred the tool. Simple as eating cake. What surprised me is getting notices when my former vehicle had a warning light, right down to knowing what part of the car wasn't working correctly. That was icing on the cake!

Aspetti negativi:

I had no problems with the software as a user. You would need to get a response from the Oregon Department of Transportation as to how they compare the functionality of various products they used.

Working With Azuga

Commenti: Overall I like Azuga. Customer service is always willing to assist and I haven't had any serious issues so far.

Aspetti positivi:

I like that Azuga tracks vehicle in real time. I like that mileage is tracked as well. I get real time responses if the Azuga device is removed or gets loose and this allows me to reach out to the site Mangers to have them correct this issue right away.

Aspetti negativi:

The turn around reply is sometimes a little slow. I've had an instance where I needed an attachment and it was forgotten to be sent along with the tracking device.

Great diagnostic tool for your vehicle

Commenti: I use Azuga ODB hardware and software as I'm a participant in the Oregon ODOT Project that is looking at overall usage of roads by individuals cars to determine whether taxing individuals in Oregon by the amount of their usage of freeways and roads. So they are collecting data with my participation to help them use the data of my primary vehicle for their research on this topic.

Aspetti positivi:

It's easy to use and monitor the telemetry data from the vehicle. I also like that it notifies me if something is out of the ordinary like a low battery or if I have a check engine light what the diagnostic code is.

Aspetti negativi:

Nothing I can think of honestly. The product works as expected and provides some handy information as I mentioned in the Pros section above.

Great addition to the business

the location tracking is great and has helped us stay on top of the location of our vehicles and allowed us to adjust our schedule as needed.

Sometimes there is a delay not sure if it is weather related but those times make it hard to know where the vehicles are.

Managing Our Fleet

Commenti: I first selected the Azuga system because it was less money than the other systems I'd considered, and it was a system we could easily install ourselves. It has been great to be able to locate our vehicles without trying to reach our drivers by phone. Being able to know where everyone is, at a glance, allows us to make better decisions. I think that the system has made or fleet more efficient, just because everyone knows that we track our vehicles.

I can locate any fleet vehicle at any time with any of my devices.

Aspetti negativi:

There are occasional server problems that cause delays in the real time display.

The mobile app is convenient to use while on the road. Bread crumb is also great when tracking a driver that has had a report of poor driving.

Aspetti negativi:

Reusing the units in different vehicles doesn’t let you rest the mileage tracking aspect. I lease vehicles and switch units around as vehicles filter through

Commenti: Azuga has been a great tool and investment that has paid dividends in improved customer service and operations efficiency.

Aspetti positivi:

Like visibility of Fleet and the use of the Beacon cards when they are working properly is great for us because we often have drivers switching vehicles so we can see who is where as well. Azuga Fleet has greatly improved our ability to let customers know when they can expect there loads, as well as improve our efficiency in credit pick-ups. Our drivers have a stronger sense of accountability as well.

Sometimes the Beacons don't function properly which can be a headache, but when they are working the system is easy to use and helpful.
