The support staff is awesome. They're friendly and responsive. The company is still small enough that the owner is involved, and you can tell that the rest of the team works closely with the ownership team.

Aspetti negativi:

It was a bit expensive for our particular use case. To be fair, the company did offer a generous price for us that better fit our budget.

Beautiful interface that's easy to use!

Aspetti positivi:

Simple, straightforward, effective contract management without all the unnecessary bells and whistles that only confuse users and deter them from using it. It's exactly what we needed and the implementation was effortless.

Aspetti negativi:

I have not experienced a single con with ContractSafe.

Account Support

Commenti: For the time being its average at best but to be fair, it was not until recently that we are "up and running".

Aspetti positivi:

The software has not overwhelmed us yet. However, the support we have received from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], our account rep, has been outstanding so for now, I would only recommend use of this software if [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] can be your account rep.

Aspetti negativi:

It does not have the expected capability (to create a template and generate contracts from this template within Contract Sate).

Contract Management Quicker and Easier!

Aspetti positivi:

The OCR recognition coupled with full text search is a top feature. The AI module continues to learn and becomes more and more accurate overtime, which saves time with initial load and setup of documents. Setting up and viewing based upon easy to build custom fields and tags is flexible and fast. Overall, extremely easy to adapt to our existing business processes and easily modified once set when requirements change

Aspetti negativi:

Any software can be improved. Native API level integration with reporting tool suites is my number one request as an add on to the product. They are working on an API and we are anxious to get that deployed so we can easily integrate with our enterprise wide reporting.

Checks all the Boxes without Adding Distracting or Unnecessary Features

Commenti: Overall, I've had a positive experience as I've been implementing. There are lots of trainings available and the support team is very responsive if I ever have a question. I'll be interested to see how the rest of the team feels after rolling out, but I anticipate a smooth transition as the product is fairly intuitive.

What attracts me most to this system is the intuitive user interface for each individual user. In addition to providing a user-friendly and logical contract storage system, it is easy as an admin to control what any given user can see and do in the system. It’s also really easy to track all key dates/contract terms and to send out customizable reminders for specific individuals of your choosing. On top of all that, it has features for sending out contracts for signature and UNLIMITED storage for related documents (like redlines) among other things. The other systems I looked at were either way more robust (and thus more complicated) than we needed or alternatively they provided most of what we needed but were much less intuitive for the way we process things. I could go on, but at the end of the day it has everything we are looking for (plus a little bit more) in a system that seems very user-friendly and easy to use.

Aspetti negativi:

Like any software, it is not without certain flaws. The [AI]ssistant has it's limits and there is a bit of a learning curve to use it most effectively. Probably what annoys me the most is the contract list, but that is probably a learning curve issue as well. The system works as deigned and not necessary as you might hope sometimes, but the team at ContractSafe seems to be very receptive to input for future builds and/or will help you find the best way to navigate your issue within their current build.

The Best Solution for our Company's Needs

Aspetti positivi:

The ability for customization to meet our company needs for reporting. ContractSafe allows for easier tagging of contracts and the ability to pull exact language from individual contracts by using the OCR feature. Immediately we saw a major improvement in our reporting capabilities with ContractSafe vs. our past contract management software provider.

Aspetti negativi:

As we have only been using ContractSafe for a short period, we really have not experienced a feature we are missing. The only small complaint we have at the moment is the platform does run slow and this can be frustrating at times.

The UX is very good. ContractSafe was easy to set up and customize, even for lawyers. We got amazing support from the team. We were able to configure approvals, forms, intake, signatures, and reports very easily. ContractSafe is a robust CLM solution and supports key integrations for only a fraction of the price that other vendors charge. It is so basic yet so powerful! We love it so far!

Aspetti negativi:

As an out-of-the-box solution, we had to think about how to adapt to ContractSafe and not vise versa. Further, the folders and views system is a bit unusual. We would suggest a few features such as user groups, a more direct eSign integration, and a Box integration.

Stay Organized. Stay Compliant.

Commenti: ContractSafe staff have been very helpful with start-up and transition from our old system. They are always available when I need them, either via email, phone call or online chats. They have also made an edit that I requested, which is nice to have them be so flexible.

Aspetti negativi:

We often have more than one active contract document at a time, so it would be nicer to have all of them together, rather than one on the main page and the others put on the Related Docs page, but it just takes some getting used to. Our old system was free of charge, so hopefully the Exec Members see the value in ContractSafe and do not halt the use of the program.

Outstanding Contract Management System!

Commenti: Our main goal was to find a contract management system that was easy to configure and implement, easy use across all departments within our organization with little training and allow us to confidently manage our contracts without the need for additional resources and ContractSafe provided us with exactly that.

Aspetti positivi:

Very user-friendly system which was easy to implement, all at a reasonable price. The product has all of the features we need to manage contracts, it is easily customizable, and [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and the customer support team are outstanding! They are very responsive and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure their customers are set-up for success.

Aspetti negativi:

The only thing I can think of is having the ability to control which documents flow into ContractSafe from DocuSign, other than by user. It would be great if there was a flag or other filter based on other criteria, even if it was more manual.

Game Changer

Commenti: ContractSafe is going to streamline our contract sharing process and make all the necessary information available even when you are not in the office due to the information on a web-based platform. This will make completing projects and closing deals much easier in the long run!

ContractSafe is user-friendly and offers a lot for your money

Commenti: Our team enjoys using ContractSafe to manage our company contracts, and we have received positive feedback that users are able to quickly find documents they're looking for in the system, or in contract reports.

Aspetti positivi:

The product is super easy to implement and use. The two-way DocuSign integration and customizability of data, scheduled reporting, and automated reminders are invaluable features. Documents are automatically OCR'ed and the search features are also very user friendly, reliable and accurate. We also appreciate the always friendly, informed, and responsive support team, and the resources made available for troubleshooting questions.

Aspetti negativi:

There is a lot of manual updating and tracking involved in using ContractSafe as a full CLM tool vs. as a basic repository. There are lots of manual steps required to update contract status, add and update custom fields, capture attachments and approvals, etc. This leaves more room for human error than is ideal. We'd love to see a workflow option where some stages of contract approvals and status can be automated.

A customizable Document Management System driven by a passionate team of developers

Aspetti positivi:

There is a wealth of customization available throughout the system is great. Specifically in creation of reporting, creating views to utilize and share, having personalized control on addition of new fields/forms without having to reach out directly to developer to bake in the coding is a huge plus. The company is engaged and interested in feedback from users and seems to care about further improving their product on an ongoing basis. They are open to involving customers in suggestions for updates and are quick to respond to issues with positive results for all parties.

Aspetti negativi:

There are aspects of the software that lacks in refinement. The software itself is not bad in any way, but there are certain items I've seen in other Document Management software programs that is either not possible in ContractSafe or not yet mapped out. Potential for "IF - THEN" statements in the software would be beneficial, but not strictly necessary. Coding for summary pages is unfortunately restricted to a certain formatting. For companies attempting to manage a larger number of contracts and granting access, there are are some pain points that a smaller company may not necessarily encounter. It would be nice if the User Access Settings would list more information for the user than just their email address: such as the user's first and last name, access granted date, an identifying region or area that links them to a potential "group" within ContractSafe would make it easier to apply bulk action changes.

Comprehensive and User Friendly

Commenti: We have had a very positive experience with ContractSafe. It is comprehensive and easy to use.

ContractSafe covers all areas necessary to easily store, retrieve and report on contracts, service orders, etc.

Aspetti negativi:

If one improvement could be made, I feel it would be to have a choice of dates used to determine the term calculation. This is very minor.

I LOVE ContractSafe! Other “solutions” are too big, expensive and cumbersome. Customizing ContractSafe is so simple and I get just what I need the moment I need it. I no longer need budget dollars and months to make a change that improves efficacy, visibility, or compliance. I’ve been a professional contract administrator for nearly 20 years, implemented at least 6 other contract management systems, and I’m always impressed by ContractSafe’s ease of use and immediate and helpful customer service (which is rarely needed.)

Aspetti positivi:

The tickler system, ease of uploading/emailing completed Contracts, reports, signature integration, document presentation, format, availability to customize entries/folders, and overall ease of backend management of the Contract.

Aspetti negativi:

I would like more one on one training/availability of ad-hoc in person questions and not have to watch a video for help. Videos are great, but usually when I need help, it is an immediate need. The AI is OK but I cannot use it as it does not put information in correct places probably due to our Contract format.

ContractSafe is a lifesaver

Commenti: We are storing termed HR files, NDAs, and licensing documents. We're using the reminders feature. We will be using it for much more in the future.

It is so easy to learn and use. Search capability and OCR are awesome. I like being able to scan directly to ContractSafe. Permissions are easy.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish there were folders. The tags and various ways of categorizing documents are so good that it's not a deal breaker though.

ABCD Contract Management Admin Review

Aspetti positivi:

It's extremely easy to use and doesn't include too many extra, superficial features or complex features. I also like that there's a decent level of customization available, that there are weekly trainings, and that the support I've received has been solid and occurs in a timely fashion.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish there was more automation when it comes to managing a workflow for something requiring review and signatures. Additionally, I'd like it to be easier to send email notifications, and for there to be stored information (like contact info) that makes it easier to set up and fill out a form for a contract or document.

Great for Contracts

Aspetti positivi:

This software has allowed us to store all of our contracts and related documents in one secure place. The question of "is this in the contract?" is easily answered now that we have ContractSafe. I love that all documents are made searchable.

Aspetti negativi:

The one thing that I would improve in ContractSafe is the ability to create an annual review form without having to redo the form each year. I like that answers carry over, but when I want my team to review the contracts annually and have them answer a specific set of questions year after year, I have to manually go in, change the questions and then order them in the new review template.

Product review

Commenti: We were assigned an account manager and the customer service has been exceptional. There is unlimited training available so whether that's in a large group or an individual wants to have a call regarding how to set up a view or a report, you just have to request a time on the manger's calendar. Usually same day is available. Their chat feature is very helpful and have utilized it several times. There was no timetable for training or uploading existing contracts. They provided sound advice on the best way to do things based on what other customers have done. They did not try to limit how we could do things but guided us on best practices.

Aspetti positivi:

We looked at multiple software programs. I appreciated that one of the owners called regarding my inquiry. As first time users of a contact management software, we wanted easy to use, good customer service, and a program that gave us the functionality we needed but not complicated in how we use on a day to day basis. We looked at a number of systems, eventually coming back to ContractSafe because it's easy to navigate and do to its price point.

We are taking out time to fully integrate but I have not found any features in the software or the process that I felt hindered or delayed our company moving forward.

Commenti: Limited time, but it has all of the functionality that we need.

The software is intuitively structured, from the dashboard to the rest of the content. It provides everything we need as a company to be able to easily upload legal documents, track key dates and actions, and to have a place to find all documents. The ability to grant different user permission levels was critical for our needs. Great product!

Can’t think of anything at this point. I’ve used the software long enough to know that it serves all of the needs in my department.
