Veeam Backup & Replication is our still our go-to backup software in the SMB/SMC customer base.

Commenti: Veeam local support for new business is outstanding.
Renewal support is not local, but is sufficient.
Overall, VBR is a great product, and used in the majority of our customer base.

Aspetti positivi:

Veeam Ent Plus licensing is an end-to-end solution. Very easy to install, setup and use. Excellent local support.

Aspetti negativi:

The new licensing model is difficult to migrate to for those customers on STD and ENT existing agreements. Pricing has increased drastically for the "Per VM" model. No agent licensing for small sites with standalone servers.

Great product for backup with a nice support team

Commenti: Overall, this is a great product that doesn't only provide great backup and support. It also helps prevent data loss.

Veeam makes it simple to back up and replicate data. The support team is incredibly helpful and was always there to assist us when needed.

Sometimes the database encounters errors when backing up workstations with changed names, requiring manual deletion of entries to fix.

Commenti: Easy to setup and then it just works. We've not had any issues. Restores are fast and easy to complete.

Veeam Data Platform provides some of the most consistent quality on the market

Aspetti positivi:

Rock solid software that performed VM Backups to various backup media types all with reliability that is unrivaled. The option for reverse incremental backups helps save time and data transfer amounts by creating an initial backup and then backing up the changes nightly. Very good software and their tech support was always easy to work with.

Aspetti negativi:

Occasionally we would have configuration issues, but their tech support would always iron out any issues we were having.

Great Easy to use backup solution

Commenti: I am using Veeam since from February 2021. It's actually a best software but faced many times backup issue when Server size were more than 1TB. Otherwise restoration process are good, Instance recovery process are also simple and useful for migration also.it's seriously very good software for full server type backup(Host base backup).

We can easily download the product from hie official website. Can easily add the cluster, nodes in Veeam tool,. Backup configuration policy is very simple. Restoration process is vary easy. Tool deployment process is vary much easy. Replication is very easy. Instance recovery option is very useful for the server migration.Dashboard GUI is very desirable aslo.

Aspetti negativi:

There are no provision about the job priority. Queued backup jobs will come in running state when once running jobs will get completed. retention points and retention days might have little hard to understand.

Easily Usable Backup Tool

Easy to use. Process of backup configuration is also in a proper manner. For beginner, it is a very good n proper tool for host based backup configuration.

Aspetti negativi:

Most important con is we only take the backup of VM which size has been less than 1 TB.

WE have been using Veeam Agent back up for years. It is reliable and easy to use and understand. Using the software gives us confidence that we can recover what is needed in an emergency.

Products is on market from many years, it is widely used. It's very stable and it includes pretty much all features you can need from a Backup solution, including all Replica functions, application-aware (crash consistent) backup. Enterprise license includes also additional advanced features. It supports also public cloud backups (ex. AWS, 365)

Aspetti negativi:

Licensing for small companies is a little expensive.

Het ideale van het programma's is dat zich constant ontwikkeld met de tijd mee en met de wensen van de klant. Er kunnen steeds nieuwe modules toegevoegd worden en mogelijkheid om onsite en cloud backup.

Superb features

Commenti: The installation is super straight forward.
The Agents deployment is automatic.
It help me to be very fast in restoring at file level.

Aspetti positivi:

The Jobs doesn't clash with each other. It also has a cool feature that scans virtual machine with antivirus before restoring back to production. Also, you can recover as low as a single file.

for now, I have not seen something to improve on or maybe the interface to look more friendly.

Excellent backup solution for any SMB

Commenti: Very fast recovery time for any DR solution.

Aspetti positivi:

The biggest pros of this backup solution is its diversity of platform which it can backup. Based on the license bought you can backup any VmWare or Hyper-V virtual machine but it also features a client that can be installed on any platform and can do the file level backup. The coolest feature is the restore where you can using the client do the restore within the machine itself and go back to all available restore points and have many version of the same file that you want to restore. It supports the backup of the SQL databases within the VM itself and it is also prefer for the backup of Microsoft Exchange as it can pull out for example only the desired email from any specific mailbox which is a big plus.

Aspetti negativi:

The solution it self is not cheap but it is justified with the professional support who, except contacting you via the email, also gives you a phone call if they dont get the replay from you any time soon. Other con is that it really requires a lot of HDD space, but then it is an enterprise level backup solution so this is self understandable.

Tech team is knowledgeable and friendly. Quick to respond. Will follow-up on all cases. Software works well, and easy to manage. Clients can be installed for even further management and monitoring capability. Really easy to get a job configured and running.

Aspetti negativi:

About the only issue I have found thus far is how difficult it can be to stop jobs should they ever become stuck. Have to stop the Veeam service, then start it again. Stopping "Gracefully" or "Immediately" will not do anything.

The program is full of great features But for me, the most important feature that I liked very much is the cumulative automatic backup feature You can customize the time, place, and size of copies and the number of copies Also, the possibility of merging new changes without the need to make a full backup

Throughout the time I used the application, I had no issues or drawbacks.

Veeam is nothing short of excellent

Commenti: It is extremely easy to work with once you get terminology and settings down. Some of the major benefits I can think of are Outlook email recovery, File Recovery, backups (both local and cloud), easy to read reports, stellar support team.

The interface is easy to navigate. You can get stats on all of your backup jobs. You can integrate with cloud providers. You can test your backups with SureBackup. You can do File Level Restores to restore individual files. Their support team is top notch. We recently had a SAN outage and they saved our bacon by being able to get a DC backup functioning again after jumping through multiple hoops.

Things can be a bit overwhelming as far as the options for backups. Does take a bit of learning to understand terminology, though they provide training :)

The only complete backup & replication solution

Aspetti positivi:

Complete backup & replication solution, with the possibility to backup storage snapshots. SO backup will be done thru the VEEAM console. Replication between sites and it comes with Veeam ONE monitoring.

Aspetti negativi:

It is not the most cheap solution, but for Enterprise business with enterprise storage this is the product to use.

Worry-free backups that function and do not break at random!

Aspetti positivi:

We are able to backup our VMs (and copy to the cloud) without trouble. Once the backups are configured, it has run flawlessly every single time. Our previous backup software would just break for no discernible reason at random, and its support could never figure it out. Veeam consistently works without issue.

Aspetti negativi:

No backup for physical servers as part of the base product. You can purchase it separately, though...
