Very adaptable to customer needs and requirement. All modules are very user friendly and ease to learn how to operate the systems after receiving the training

Training is conducted by an instructor after the development is complete. It is more advisable and recommended to have automated training manuals on all modules to allow user to learn and refer at any time as the needs might arise for self-training.

User Experience is bad & Application almost useless. We had to do debugging numerous times, as things didn’t work properly.

Issues may arise when extensively customizing Classter for specific institution requirements, but they are always resolved at no cost to the customer. We take pride in working closely with our customers to offer relevant and useful functionality for all, as it is demonstrated from most of the reviews here. The Mobile App is a relatively new addition to our product offering and it is true that we observed some issues in specific types of devices, but our dev team resolved them in updated releases. To say that we over-promised and did not deliver is not only unfair but untrue, our Mobile App has been downloaded and used by almost 8,000 users. We are always available to discuss and find solutions to any issues you may have with Classter platform, feel free to contact our team as you have successfully done in the past.

Versatile Student Software
Commenti: I did the free version when we were looking for an SIS system for our vocational training school that is also a nonprofit organization with limited funds. This option was perfect for the needs we had at the time and allowed our educational nonprofit to organize our students with a cost efficient option during these COVID times since many SIS systems are way expensive.
Aspetti positivi:
There is a free option available for those who have basic needs, which is not available with any other student information systems I have found. The support is quick to answer questions and available when you need them with clear answers. If you go even further and pay for a subscription, it has a function for just about every need if you are willing to pay the increases.
Aspetti negativi:
The free version is very limited and shows a very basic interface that can sometimes be confusing or take a bit of time to get the hang of. I hope for a more user friendly interface with a paid/upgraded version, although with practice it is able to be used by everyone regardless of their tech skills.
Alternative considerate: Orbund
Perché passare a Classter: It had a free option that we can use while we get back on our feet and have our online classes grow enough to move to the paid option (which we intend to do). This was great for us to learn how the system works on a daily basis and see what options/functions work for us and what don't since it takes time and usage to learn these things from SIS's but most times you don't get this length of a free trial to familiarize your self with it and make sure it is a good decision for your school.
Classter has great communication and customer service!
Commenti: Classter has been very responsive at all hours of the day. To the point that sometimes when you email you feel bad as you may get a response at very late hours of the day for them. Such a dedicated team at Classter.

I love that they teach you how to use the backend of the system to equip you with the tools to continue to make changes as you move toward a student information system that best suits your school.
Aspetti negativi:
Some of the fields and sections that might be unnecessary cannot be removed, but rather stay and are just left unused, but that isn't make or break.
Alternative considerate: Orbund
Perché passare a Classter: The price point and customer service were second to none. The flexibility and user interface was exactly what we needed. I do not know why anyone would use any other SIS.

Hosting and main setup is handled by the supplier, and the support is very responsive for the implementation used.
Aspetti negativi:
In some cases, the user interface needs some tweaking, as the software offers a little too much choice for the end user, which can cause the user to choose the wrong option in some cases. It would be ideal for the user interface to reduce the amount of choice to the user so that the user flows through the system are straightforward.

several features. more than you will ever need such as assignments, grades, duties, attendance, online candidates form , payments, bus management, books management and reservation, etc it has an embedded CRM app for sending group SMS and Emails Is easy to extract data and even to create your own custom made reports synchronized with office 365 and moodle. users amd groups are create through classter price is 1/10 of other similar software found in the market very good support. they have added a lot of changes free of charge and for custom made apps their cost is reasonable it has a web interface for the admin/teachers/students/parents/partners and a desktop admin console with a lot of functionalities is a relatively a small company but very well organized and they all seems to enjoy working for that company

the software is relatively new so the are frequent improvements. if a user is both an admin, a parent and a teacher you need different accounts. when you first start the software you will have to wait a few seconds for the data to be loaded from the web. some things are not very obvious and unless you have a full training or you contact their help desk, you might miss it the first time. but as i said they have one of the best help desk supports i have seen so far.

I like how easy it is to use and the fact that we can see students from our other campuses. I do like that I can see the homestay admission data, this is very helpful when making homestay placements

As the homestay counsellor, I feel there needs to be more for homestay. Perhaps a page where we can add our homestay reviews from students. As well, being able to add, edit, and delete homestay host information would be useful.

Could based solution, user friendly, achieves our objectives of digitizing our end to end processes. Enables us to change the mind set of all stake holders through the use of technology. This change of mind set covers a learning, teaching, reporting, behavioral changes of staff, students and parents. This was achieved through Classter core modules and financial module. We liked Classter flexibility to fit our needs of running the school in the manner we see fit. For example, weekly tracker progress in excel, staff leave requests, segmentation of each groups into different grades and campuses, external and internal communication functionality, attachment functionality, flexible financial arrangements functionality, reporting dumps for management use (slice and dice). Classter has enabled us to truly thing about expanding and franchising our success story

We found the configuration of the financial module to be complex. Time tabling functionality can be improved. Use menus can be stream lined. For example, a particular action can be done through multiple menus. A better approach would be to have actions under one menu. For example, all reports can be in one place rather than under each tab
Worth investing time to learn
Commenti: I perservered with the software because it offered nearly all the functions I was seeking. I gave up on it once and looked at other products and although some were easier to work with, they lacked features. I gave it another go and decided to stick with it. My level of IT competence is modest. I designed computer based training programs and built a network for running simulation exercises for training emergency services personnel. I taught IT in secondary schools in the UK, 11-18yr groups. I think a better level of competence than what I have is required to effectively manage the implementation of this software in an organisation. Without that level of competency I think training from Classter is essential which greatly increases the cost. In summary, promising, but difficult to deploy.

It is necessary to devote a lot of time to learning the product. Customizing terminology is not easy to and the changes you make are not always global, which causes confusion. Too many steps to reveal lists especially users lists. I would prefer sorting commands. When buying any software that Is aimed at businesses that although in the same industry have different requirements broadly connected, the ability of the customer to customize is essential. I would liked to have seen a far better and clearer customization panel. I don’t like the customisation tools in Classter.
