Good Alternative For Conferencing

Commenti: To describe it general, it is easy to use as well as setup and support. Supports lots of platform which make it flexible . The quality of video and sound acceptable, but sometimes it becomes very hard to understand

Easy to use and easy to setup. It has flexibility use almost every platform which has some benefits over other products.

Aspetti negativi:

It is expensive and video quality sometimes become really awful. Trial is limited so it could have some trial days and after that if all satisfied contract will be extended.

In the 2 years of use it really has improved company communication

What I like most about the software is its ease of use. From the IT professional down to the more IT challenged users this software is easy to navigate, and anyone can use it.

Aspetti negativi:

In the past the biggest issue we have had with the software is its lack of functionality when there is a software version mismatch from host to participants. We experience both lack of audio or video until software is updated. This may have been resolved with the self updating cloud app though.

Still Catching Up

Commenti: We have used Lifesize for Virtual Visits for appointments with our physicians and some meetings. The app is not always user friendly for patients making it difficult to connect. However, you can add in other physicians or providers to a patient visit very easily.

Aspetti positivi:

Lifesize has the ability to add other licensed users to a meeting with ease. you can go to the directory click on a name and "ring" them up. Once they answer they can be easily added to an existing meeting.

Aspetti negativi:

Software can tend to be "glitchy". Logging on to a meeting can be a challenge at times with no clear explanation. The screen "shakes" and moves at times and background noise can be picked up on the audio.

Must need in today’s world

Commenti: We have four community stations so we use this every day for briefing and debriefing. We also regularly hold meetings which is a lifesaver for those who work swing and graveyard shifts.

Aspetti positivi:

The life-size equipment itself is relatively easy to use. We are able to speak with officers based out of other stations virtually instead of requiring an in-person meeting.

Aspetti negativi:

Sometimes it can be difficult to set up zoom or Microsoft teams meets with the life-size equipment. Same goes for Google meets.

My experience is that this is one of the most professional videochats however I think its much 4 us

easy to use, quality is good for video chat, there is a mobile app also so the software is portable.

more controls for IT to make adjustments. Cost is another issue the cost of this setup was very expensive.

The quality of Lifesize is the first thing that stood out to our team. Seamless video calls have allowed for extremely professional internal and external video calls to clients no matter where they are in the world allowing our company to spend our valuable resources in other ways. Lifesize is changing the way we do business. The new features they offer have separated them from past competitors.

The Lifesize plug and play devices were a touch difficult to setup, but have worked flawless since setup.

the meeting rooms are very nice. Dedicated rooms that are always available makes scheduling calls convenient.

Aspetti negativi:

The app just doesn't seem to be working well. I always go through the web site to use the software because it is glitchy.

Implementation was rocky but product is solid overall

Aspetti positivi:

We have a rather complex system and the setup is well integrated and intuitive to use. The software can be installed on a computer but a web app and phone app are available for use making it pretty flexible. Administration is simple.

Aspetti negativi:

Programming the system to get it working for our large board room took much too long. The hardware setup was more than they anticipated, probably because there was no initial evaluation of the room for them to gauge. They had to send people out multiple times to get it working correctly.

A good tool for video conferencing

Commenti: Easy to use user interface, quick videocall meeting features are good.

Aspetti positivi:

User interface is not complicated. You can find what you need quickly. Connection is very easy than other programs.

Aspetti negativi:

I didn't experience any cons about this tool. Maybe camera options can be extented like zoom in/zoom out functions.

A hidden gem for video conferencing!

Commenti: The company I work for used Lifesize for interviews. I preferred it over Skype because of the modern UI.

Aspetti positivi:

The user interface was modern and clean. This isn't a dated product. It's fast and easy setup meetings and the video quality was great.

Aspetti negativi:

It's not as popular as Skype so it's not widely used or known. I wish more people used it for video conferencing because the product is well made.

Great Company and Video Conferencing Solution

Commenti: We have been doing business with Lifesize hardware and products for close to ten years. They have been responsive and willing to assist with any problems. Their sales team is flexible for individual company needs. I consider Lifesize a perfect size company for providing responsive competitive offerings, without being a red tape mess to deal with for software requests, billing, sales, etc.

Aspetti positivi:

It is very easy to use. You can tell someone is leading the development team that values "cutting friction points". Where one software has three pop ups to do the same task, Lifesize seems to complete it in one or two. They create this easy to use interface while keeping security in mind in the background. My users love the software.

Aspetti negativi:

It would be nice if it had some of the screen controlling features that other meeting software has.

The equipment has helped my company expand our classroom.

Commenti: The software and equipment have aided our company in training students in the rural areas of our state, without disrupting their lives and jobs dramatically. We are hoping to start recording the course to use as refreshers for our students.

Aspetti positivi:

With the cloud, the ease of use is great. We have been able to access area's in our state with not the best internet, but the cloud has allow the classrooms to stay connected, and not interupt the learning.

Aspetti negativi:

The maintenance contracts needed to keep the equipment updated, and have access to the technical support, are expensive. The equipment doesn't break down but "just in case" and to get the updates we are at your mercy.

Using Lifesize

Commenti: I've had a very good experience overall. I would definitely recommend lifesize when using with a team that can be spread around the world.

Aspetti positivi:

Allows me to connect with my team of software development which is overseas fairly easy. Very user friendly and gives you different options to use from.

Aspetti negativi:

Could have better support for linux devices. There is no native app for linux based systems. Not very useful when sharing the screen on the web app.

Good overall. Much improved since implementation. We use it nearly everyday!

The ability to meet face-to-face, with decent call quality most times, and from anywhere. The mobile aspect is extremely helpful.

Aspetti negativi:

There can be times where call quality suffers. I'm not sure if it is because of the cloud-aspect of the services, but it can be problematic (as can any product that is web-based!).

The Brilliant 4K Generation

Commenti: All of our contacts and meeting rooms are all in the same directory. This makes me feel even more connected with all of my colleagues from all DEKOM offices across the globe.

The architecture of the software has a nice design, and it is very user-friendly which smoothens the workflow even more.

Aspetti negativi:

Lifesize users cannot join in a Skype for Business meeting, unfortunately. But a Skype for Business user can join a Lifesize meeting.

Overall I haven't needed to touch it to much, which means it must be working great!

Skype integration, we get a lot of Skype customers wanting to call, and if we had that functionality built in that would be great.

There's not much we don't like about the software. The web portal could use some updating, and adding uses could be a bit more streamlined.

My experience is that this system is very easy to use. It provides a beautiful picture and clear sound for conferences.

Aspetti negativi:

Not much that is a con on this system. The price is a bit on the premium side. But you get what you pay for.

LifeSize has been solid and reliable and provides excellent quality for our video conferences.

Commenti: High quality video conferencing for a good price

The cloud app and its ease of access to use with external clients who don't have lifesize. It links well into invite/calendar/email.

Aspetti negativi:

Some staff find it difficult to use/understand the first time they want to create a meeting. Often after the camera/mic is setup for the first time, they have to log out and log back into the software before it works properly.

Software is easy to use. Even our users with very limited technically experience can get it to work

The ease of use is the best part of this software. It just works. I can easily connect with anybody on my team and easily get a meeting started with anybody.

Aspetti negativi:

I don't use the desktop app every week but it seems like there is an update for it every time I open it. I know these are helpful but if it could update when I'm not trying to use the software it would be great.

I really like the simplicity of the interface and the speed to reach another person. It's a great asset to the Lifesize interface for every employee to use this video conferencing software

I regret the recent disappearance on the Lifesize application of the meeting rooms. I hope this is only a bug that will be corrected in the near future.

Lifesize Video Conferencing - VTC

Commenti: We can have multiple people from different locations join the conference with different methods. The flexibility is great and we usually have pretty stable communication. I would recommend Lifesize, but I have heard our management is considering a cheaper option.

Aspetti positivi:

I like that each employee has their own account and we can join a conference via phone, PC or live in our conference room. We can present audio and video easily and consistently.

Aspetti negativi:

The main thing I do not like is we cannot save the picture in picture setting for our conference room. We have to be connected to the far end and then choose picture in picture. It costs us time and also kind of makes us look like we don;t know what we are doing. I personally have talked to Lifesize tech support and have not been able to figure out a better way.
