Aspetti positivi:

Connecting data sources to Google Data Studio for reporting is difficult when you have to setup so many API connectors for each client on each platform. Supermetrics makes this process simple. I love it!

Aspetti negativi:

Pricing could be lower considering the no-touch service they provide. Hard to justify the cost relative to the service offered.

There are cheaper, better, easier options.

Commenti: Frustrating and slow. We never attained the level of insight or tracking that we hoped, and after we had the tool set up we still had to manually track and record performance data. If this tool cost 1/3 of what they charge it might be worth it, but Supermetrics is right in the middle: It tries to do too much and makes it messy and not user-friendly; and it tries to be easy to use, which makes the messiness of the tool harder to control. It will add hours and sap dollars.

It does mostly do what it purports to: takes data from different sources and blends them into a Data Studio dashboard. In general, that is possible with this tool.

Aspetti negativi:

Messy data - connecting new channels creates multiple different sources, and pulls in tons of data automatically that you don't need or requires you to manually sort through the list of data to select. Not efficient. Not the easiest set up - if you're hoping to get more team members onboard as users, they had better have some background in data. Pricing - Going off the above, I thought the price point was worth it because of the ease of use. But with the messiness and overall "hacked together" feeling of the tool, the justification for the price is lost. Social tracking - Social media tracking is incomplete and never provided what my team wanted from it. We ended up tracking IG stories with UTM tags and maintaining our own creative performance charts.... because that manual work was easier (possible) than using Supermetrics. Customer Support - Neither me nor my team used supermetrics for a couple of months, and came to the conclusion that it doesn't suit our needs and doesn't provide all the power and insight it claimed to. I emailed support to cancel. It took them days to respond - coincidentally, they didn't answer until the day after that month's auto-pay went through. When they did respond they pointed to their terms of service, which had updated dramatically at some point during my contract, and said they aren't going to cancel. Not being able to cancel a tool that doesn't work for you should disqualify it from consideration in your techstack.

Excellent Integration and data extraction

Commenti: Its interface has what is necessary to reflect the data in a practical way, it saves a lot of time by not having to log in to each platform, I would recommend it for large companies that work with many platforms and need to process large amounts of data since it automates the reports and save time in the optimization of marketing campaigns.

It is a tool that saves time and takes advantage of the data from Facebook ads, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok among others, I like that it unifies the statistics from different platforms in one place, it is a useful tool if you work with Business Intelligence, all the information it extracts can be analyzed in data applications such as Tableau and Google data Studio.

Aspetti negativi:

One negative point is that as it integrates with various platforms, it takes some time to update and process the data, another negative point is that it sometimes has errors when syncing with other platforms, such as Facebook and Google, it's something their developers need to work on.

Institutional reporting platform with a lot of public support but is not worth the price.

Commenti: Look, Supermetics is good. It's a great solution for many people but for a small agency with only a couple of clients that just happened to have a significant adspend, it was sunsustainably expensive - Plus the prices have tripled across the course of a couple of years. Frankly, for what I needed it for, there are other SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper options out there. Supermetrics is like the Clickfunnels of reporting software. Eeryone is spruiking it to claim that sweet affiliate kickback money but is it the best solution? They've gotten away with charging way more up until smaller players come onto the scene and offer the same functionality at a fraction of the price. In my case, a lifetime deal for similar funstionality at one third of the monthly price of Supermetrics. I'll not be going back.

The setup is comprehensive, there's a bunch of handy templates, it makes reporting a breeze. Supermetrics is tight.

Aspetti negativi:

Those eye watering price tags when you start spending any real budget.

The easiest solution to import digital advertising data in data visualization tools

Supermetrics is the go-to industry solution for extracting metrics and dimensions from online marketing platforms and pulling them into spreadsheets or data visualization platforms. We use it to connect data from Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Shopify and many other vendors to power Google Data Studio dashboards and to send data to Google Sheets in order to perform analyses and create reports. Supermetrics is simple, effective and reliable.

Aspetti negativi:

The Data Studio connector can get slow when connected to multiple ad accounts at once. Supermetrics is also kind of expensive compared to some competitors, and doesn't offer bundles for professionals or agencies looking to connect a data source to multiple tools - for example, we use Google Data Studio to create dashboards and Google Sheets to analyze campaign results, and we need to buy two separate Supermetrics products to be able to do so.

Fast (and pricy) connector with lots of supported sources and destinations

Commenti: I use it to connect data from different marketing sources to DataStudio, Google Sheet and BigQuery (though I'm moving to Stitch Data for BigQuery, as it is way less expensive than Supermetrics)

Aspetti positivi:

It is very easy to configure and set up. It has many connections. It is almost plug&play. The connection for Google Sheet has an intuitive interface where you can build the queries and filters to your data. The support team is extremely fast and usually gets back to you with on-point solutions.

Aspetti negativi:

It is very expensive. The basic licenses usually have some connectors included, but it's easy to end up needing a connector not included and this obviously has an extra cost. From time to time, scheduled queries in Google Sheet don't run (and I rarely get a warning email).

I liked how simple it was to use and how quickly it could analyze large amounts of data. Supermetrics enables simple yet powerful data analysis, and the user interface is simple to grasp. Furthermore, Supermetrics is extremely cost effective and allows for data visualization in a variety of formats.

Aspetti negativi:

The most significant disadvantage of Supermetrics is that the data it provides can be quite expensive. The pricing structure can be complicated, and it may not be worthwhile for small businesses or individuals who only need access to a few data sources. Furthermore, Supermetrics can be difficult to use for some users and may take a significant amount of time to learn.

Forced a price increase during a period we already prepaid and then would not refund

Commenti: We have used super metrics for years and it fails to load in data studio constantly then out of the blue they forced a price increase on us during a period we already prepaid and then would not refund when we cancelled. The price went from $65 to $382 per month which is a huge increase.

Commenti: A friendly UI makes you hungry for more integrations: it's almost as if you're ordering your meal in a restaurant. You have plenty of data sources to choose from and the process to integrate them in order to create a holistic data report is quite seamless.

Supermetrics lets you unlock the real power on unified centralized data: instead of going to 3, 5 or 10 data sources you just connect them and select the most relevant data and bingo! you're able to gather, analyze and present the data in a comprehensive story.

Aspetti negativi:

The Essential plan can feel a bit pricey when you realize you only have 1 user available. Maybe we need a lower price tier or remove some features from the Essentials, but we need to lower the price.

Commenti: My experience with the Supermetrics team is what truly takes their software/service to the next level. Their operations support team is quick to respond, eager to help, and ambitious with their goals of keeping their customers happy. I have never seen such a responsive, personable, and all together helpful team of individuals. I will recommend Supermetrics 10 out of 10 times.

Aspetti positivi:

The datastudio connection capabilities are relatively simple to set up and extremely useful. Supermetrics works seamlessly with Google's system to provide killer live-reporting tools for high-level KPIs.

Aspetti negativi:

There is not much to dislike here. The price is extremely fair in relation to the competition. The only slight drawback is the initial linking takes a small time commitment, but once a connection is made via Datastudio the rest is quick and seamless.

Powerful tool for combining disparate data sets I use this daily to monitor advertising performance.

This tool enables me to pull in data from Google Analytics, Adwords and Bing into one place that can then be accessed by Google Data Studio or any other monitoring tools or management platforms.

Aspetti negativi:

Servers seem to get clogged up occasionally and become unresponsive. At times, data is pulled into wrong columns. As with any dataset, you need to remain vigilant and check that what is coming in makes sense. Its usually easy enough to do a refresh (and make sure you're highlighting the correct cell) and pull in the data correctly if things get weird.

Supermetrics is great to pull data from our marketing vendors. My team uses super metrics for google sheets as an important step in our etl process and well as reporting and visualization. The functionality makes it easy to pull into data directly from our platforms with great level of detail that makes reporting and marketing analytics is simpler process.

Aspetti negativi:

My team uses supermetrics as a check against any unmatched data in our database. If no data comes up in the query, that means the check passed, however the supermetrics comes back as an error which can raise an unnecessary flag to our data engineering team.

Commenti: We use to manage our paid search budget, and do Y/Y ad-hoc reports and analysis for Google Analytics data. Great little connector!

I love how easy the connector is to use (setting up ' scheduling reports takes minutes!) I can format the data how I need it, and then "set ' forget" for auto-updates for all my GA, Bing, ' Adwords data. I also love how I can pull in cost as it helps keep us on the ball with our budget.

Aspetti negativi:

Although there used to be more available in the free version, and not you have to pay to get the full value of it.

I can get all of my figures from all of my sources into a google sheet at predetermined intervals with just some initial set up.

Aspetti negativi:

The initial set-up is rather awkward and it can be very difficult to work out what to fix if it stops working for whatever reason.

Without the best bit of software we'e found this year!

Commenti: We used to struggle to be able to keep a track of our lead generation clients and where they were against lead volume, spend and whether they were on trend. This solved the problem, with a plug in to alert when we meet our cap levels, sending an email and even creating a task on our trello board.

Aspetti positivi:

The flexability of Supermetrics is what makes this stand out. We have created a dashboard through Google sheets, plugged into our MCC. We can then pull all of our conversions into it with spend, target CPA and use a traffic light system to target lead volume and target CPA. Very cool

Aspetti negativi:

Using the dashboard we created, it is not updated in a "live" environment. This used to updated every hour, however it's currently 3/4 times a hour now. Not a big issue.
