Improving control.
Commenti: The goal was to use Blerter to keep athletes safe with reduced incident response times, provide a simple and engaging experience for volunteers, and streamline reporting and allocation for the operations team. Blerter has delivered in all these areas.

Blerter is simple to use. The app is of great value when you have a 226k point to point race course.
Aspetti negativi:
The Blerter event console proved challenging when we used it actively in August 2019. We have seen upgrades since, but not had a LIVE go at it yet.
Multifaceted Product for Event Organisers

I feel it is a great tool for every race organiser as it has numerous functions. It enables staff to action to do lists on the go and ask for assistance when isolated or attending to a task which they can not leave. Individuals are kept up to date with events occurring in real time so that they can be prepared for anything required of them.
It is an invaluable tool linked to the safety and control of an event if used correctly - enabling all factions concerned in an emergency to remain in contact, send out messages in response to incidents and ensure that incidents are recorded for future reference should historical accounts need to be made and responded to - it truly is a product I value on event day and I know I feel so much more comfortable having it at arms length so that I can ensure what I am working on with the rest of the event team and officials is a success on the day

Its ease of use - with minimal instruction the product is organic in its use; and the ability for instantaneous communication, action and recording of information across a wide audience/number of users
Aspetti negativi:
Its inability thus far to be utilised out of cell phone coverage and the incessant pinging when a new communication message is put out but you know it is necessary

Commenti: Blerter greatly assists with our H&S of a large scale Festival event. It's a great platform to use. The biggest challenge we face, is we don't use the platform regularly enough as our event is an annual event

Being able to communicate updates and information quickly and efficiently on one platform to a large number of key people Having a record of any issue that occurred during the event Having the ability to upload documents for use onsite without having to carry hard copies
Aspetti negativi:
Initially I found the platform confusing and I was unaware of the Desktop version but I think with the improvements that have been made, it has become more versatile and easier to use. More training will help to overcome this
Great communication and risk management tool for endurance events

The Blerter app provided us with an effective and easy to use software that allowed our volunteers and race staff to communicate directly to event management team. All relevant information was provided to the volunteers within the app and gave them a simple messaging tool to communicate directly with us to report incidents, accidents, or ask questions during the event. The console was easy to navigate and oversee all areas of our 26.2 mile course.

The mobile app and software can appear a little more advanced for some users.

Aspetti positivi:
The ability to be able to communicate more efficiently with my wider team. The ability to be able to track my teams progress with their tasks by looking on my phone and ensuring that we are still on track for the event start time. I no longer need to carry around a folder of knowledge, I just need my phone.

Currently cannot upload my excel runsheet into the program

It makes in field reporting of potential hazards or follow ups of hazards quick and timely, and in a event or race it enables that to occur in a very timely manner to muitple recipients

All documents relating to the event are in my pocket and available at the touch of the screen. Very user friendly and helpful product support
