User friendly solution for both vets and pet owners.

Aspetti positivi:

The fact that someone came with a very ingenious solution for digitalizing not only pet's healts records, but also all the registers that our country legislation requires and was able to make it user friendly helped me and my colleagues the most. Now we don't lose precious time doing the inventory every month, or checking if our assistants have removed pricesely the drugs used that day from our stock, or even calling the owners for a vaccine or a check-up reminder. We can focus on what we supposed to from the beginning, saving pets life without being preocupied that maybe you are left out of stock for some drugs or that maybe Charlie the Pug forgot about his annual check-up. And in the end, the owners are pleased to have a virtual health book in their personal phone at any moment with an accurate history of past and future appointments in our clinic.

Aspetti negativi:

At first I thought it will be difficult to transfer the old virtual database to Digitail, but I was pleasantly surprised that their consultants found a personalised solution for us that dind't require as much time or effort as expected.

Incredible System, Incredible Team!

Commenti: [sensitive content hidden], our onboarding person, has been incredible. He has dealt with my silly questions, serious questions, and overall frustrations getting it up and running (although the frustrations have been few). Even with the big time difference, he has been available when we needed him! He is extremely knowledgeable and want him to come to the U.S. and work at our hospital as a vet (and Digitail expert) lol.

Coming from a server based system, its incredible to be able to access from anywhere! There are many functions, some we haven't even tried yet (baby steps in implementing them) that make the process so much easier. And of course, we are in a a love-hate relationship with "Tails"....we love it because it's the coolest thing ever, but hate the fact that down the road I won't be needed lol!

Aspetti negativi:

Inventory management is something to get used to, but we will get there. I do also wish we could create our own visit types to work with what we are used to. Also, one request would be to be able to re-order the entries in a canned treatment plan so if we have to adjust it, it will be in logical order of how we go through the process. Right now, new entries only appear at the bottom and can not be moved and the whole plan needs to be re-created.

STAY AWAY FROM DIGITAIL!

Commenti: The software is a total joke. We were lied to when we signed and unless you copy the CEO on every email, no one answers. It's just bad software with no customer support.

Aspetti positivi:

There are no pros at this point. They have run us through the ringer so bad we are already shopping for another software.

Aspetti negativi:

They fired our implementation person along with about a quarter of their staff the day before we went live. Their tech support team does not respond to problems. You can't change reminders going out to your customers. Our no show rate skyrocketed after we went live with them. If you have multiple locations, you can't set up your own employees.

I like the interface, the ease of use, the forward thinking (AI, voice integrations).

Aspetti negativi:

I am a specialist and I was hoping there would be advancements to integrate the unique aspects of a referral hospital. Also customer service can be very helpful, but not always very prompt. The chat option really isn't truly a chat because it can takes days for them to respond. That is really just an email.

We LOVE Digitail!

Aspetti positivi:

First and foremost, the software is so easy to use and very functional. One of the great things about it is being able to access it ANYWHERE. The pet-parent portal is also genius and our clients are definitely fans! The chat function and diary updates are great for managing difficult cases. We also really like how the treatments are so easily approved and declined within a SOAP note and then anything approved will automatically pull into the invoice. It makes missing charges a thing of the past. As a brand new practice we had to start from the ground up. Our onboarding specialist, [sensitive content hidden], has been the absolute best! The fact that Digitail is constantly improving and working to be more functional is phenomenal. Honestly, there's so many nice things it would be hard to list them all but we really do just love it!

There have only been a few small things I've noticed that I wasn't a fan of or feel should be worked on a bit more. The one thing I find slightly inconvenient is having to remove pricing when sending a record so instead of hitting just "send email" we have to go into the "advanced records options" every time to change it. One other thing is not being able to apply a 0 to the low end of an estimate on any product that has a dispensing fee as it will always still add the dispensing fee instead of displaying a $0 - still trying to figure a way around that without creating a bunch of new services or changing dispensing fees. The last thing I can think of that has been an issue is merging clients/patients. I've noticed after we have manually entered a client and patient into the system, if they then go enter themselves into the app it will create a duplicate and I do not have the power to merge them.

So Far So Good!

Commenti: My Account Manager [sensitive content hidden] was so awesome through the entire process. He was very responsive to my questions which I had many of. He was able to keep me organized and on track.

Digitail is perfect for the small outpatient-focused private veterinary clinic

Commenti: It's been great! As a small private practice, it has suited our needs wonderfully and we have been able to leverage a lot of their tools to reduce many communication friction points.

Aspetti positivi:

- SOAPs: Logically built. Easy to start-finish every aspect of an appointment in one screen (history, exam, diagnostics, medications/label printing, invoicing, discharge instructions) - Flowboard: Quick and easy way to "bounce" between SOAPs. Visualize "who's here"? - Integrated pet smartphone app: Allows for easy sharing/viewing of records. Chat feature. Contactless booking. And pet parent medical journaling that syncs with our PIMS - Online Booking: Now they have an embeddable widget to add to our website. - Quality UX: This is a veterinary software that feels modern. And that matters when onboarding and training new staff. - Agility in development: The Digitail team has shown consistent interest in adapting to user needs.

Aspetti negativi:

- Wish the pet parents could share their vaccination history in pdf form rather than having to contact us to do it for them. - The Whiteboard feature is a good start, but they don't have task-invoicing connectivity yet. So a big in-patient facility may struggle in that respect.

Terrific cloud-based PIMS for our small specialty practice!

Commenti: Getting started with Digitail was super easy! Our customer service contact walked us through setups and met with us as many times as we needed to get everything working and to dive deeper into adding new functions.

What a great alternative to our previous system! As a small but growing specialty practice, we don't have the client volume to justify adding an expensive software. Yet, we needed to improve our medical records and organization. Digitail checked those boxes and so many more!

Aspetti negativi:

Would like to see attachments read in medical records and improvement with emailing with clients so it shows as part of the medical record. 2 way emailing would be terrific!

Commenti: Digitail have always helped whenever I have had any issues. Their service is fast, friendly and efficient. I have and will continue to recommend Digitail.

Aspetti positivi:

Digitail is cloud based making it available anywhere on any device provided you have internet. Appointments are easy to schedule. The digitail app for pet owners is very impressive. Support is superior to other software I have used. Requests for improved functionality are taken on board and software continually improved.

Aspetti negativi:

I did not like the fact that invoicing was per pet instead of per owner. This changed but combining invoices was tedious. Recently changes have been made and consolidating invoices for one owner is very easy to do.

the best platform for veterinary clinics

Aspetti positivi:

We started using Digitail 2 years ago and it has been the best decision for our practice. The features that helped us the most were the reminders for appointments that the platform sends automatically to pet owners and the support that the platform offers for keeping patient records. Before Digitail we had to call the owners ourselves to remind them about their appointments and we kept all patient records on paper and that was very time consuming.

Because before Digitail we were using pen and paper, it took a while for the staff to get used to the new order of things, but their customer support is always there to help.

Use for Mobile Vets

Commenti: The staff have been lovely and welcoming in helping answer all of my questions. I am just not sure it is the right program for me at this stage.

That it is cloud based and a nice clean looking dashboard. Easy to find the tabs I need.

There is a lot of double handling. Multiple steps in the consult note section even with using templates. I would like to be able to be able to edit and customise more things to my preferences and needs.

For any modern and dynamic practice, Digitail is the ideal tool

Commenti: After adopting Digitail, I could concentrate more on treatment rather than losing time on different areas. Pet parents were more trustful and they are always at ease interacting with their vet.
Developers are always helpful and provide monthly upgrade to the interface and options, which is great.

Aspetti positivi:

Digitail help to better organise and run my daily practice. Pet parents follows their fur babies pet record better using a well deserved tool for this era. It is easier to go through all medical records, products stock and statistics useful for better planning and evolution.

Aspetti negativi:

Some features takes time to get used to. Training staffs may require some time

Aspetti positivi:

This software as a whole is really simple to use/understand. Online booking is really a pleasure and allows clients to book appointments without have to call in. The App is an added bonus as clients can read all the treatment protocols and follow them if they are unsure. Overall the software is really good, the team is always available to assist

Aspetti negativi:

All my concerns/ improvements have been fixed or I have been shown how to do it.

Commenti: Always having the data ready to access, nice interface, easy interaction - people always ready to answer questions.

Aspetti positivi:

Easy access of data, easy to introduce, for one patient it takes approximately one and a half minutes.

Aspetti negativi:

The fact that every time you need to do another consultation chart , only because you changed something during treatment. It's not very important anyway.

I can easily organize my work without hiring another person.
