I was misled by our Sage partner that Datalinx was just as customizable as core X3. Without Datalinx X3s warehouse/barcode abilities were so dismal that they would not even sell it to me. They switched to subscription only and seem to dislike us because we have a perpetual license, even though we pay annual support. > > We spent close to a million on a failed deployment to our business. It was not an appropriate choice for a complex distribution business like ours. We have only been able to use it for a small number of users at a small business unit. Sage has been a poor partner, clearly seeing us as a revenue source and not a business partner. They deflected our technical questions back to their 3rd party sales channel and offer little for the support fees that we pay them.
