Commenti: We've been using ProPresenter since 2011 and absolutely love the ease of use and stability. It's been a great product with great support when you need it.

Aspetti positivi:

We can train a volunteer to use ProPresenter in just a few minutes, but the depth of features is outstanding. We probably use less than half of the capabilities of ProPresenter, so it scales with us. It's also rock solid. Nothing induces panic like a last-minute software crash. It very rarely has any issues.

Aspetti negativi:

You definitely pay for the quality and features. There are less expensive options but they can't touch the stability of ProPresenter. I feel like the subscription system they have moved to is cost prohibitive to some smaller churches and organizations.

A Powerful Presentation Application with a Learning Curve

Commenti: ProPresenter has a learning curve. While each individual feature is sufficiently documented, which features to use as well as how to use them took time as well as trial and error. An external tool (e.g., web app) that allows one to specify what they wish to accomplish and produces a baseline configuration and playlist template with supporting documentation would be welcomed. After using ProPresenter for six weeks, I can now create a weekly service playlist in ten minutes. Since we also stream from ProPresenter, we only need one volunteer to operate ProPresenter. Formally, we needed one operator to run our presentation software and another to run our streaming software. This allowed us to start a graphics design team to better use the gifts and talents of our volunteers.

It is very powerful and can do almost anything you want. It offers great flexibility in terms of physical displays, virtual displays, audio routing. Once understood the looks feature and themes are fairly easy to use. I also like ProPresenter/MultiTracks integration and automation.

Aspetti negativi:

The biggest feature that ProPresenter lacks is fool-proof collaboration. If multiple people are creating a playlist (e.g., a weekly Sunday service), then they must be very careful in merging their efforts into a single master. I know such a fully automatic synchronization feature would be challenging to implement well. However, it would be very welcomed. Perhaps a next step is a semi-automated process. For example, before synchronizing ProPresenter could analyze the contents of the collaborators' repositories, present a difference report, and allow the user to specify which synchronization options to allow to the master. While not fully automated, this would be more helpful than the current implementation.

Love ProPresenter 6, but forced to ProPresenter 7 and it has been a nightmare

Commenti: Love ProPresenter 6, but not supported any more and can't use CCLI with it. ProPresenter 7 has been a nightmare.

Again, this is about ProPresenter 7. They've made some random things easier than it was with ProPresenter 6 (such as changing text color).

Aspetti negativi:

For ProPresenter 7, it tries to do too much and sacrifices things it did well (or easily) in ProPresenter 6. It certainly is not as intuitive as ProPresenter 6 was! We rent from another church, so we can't leave our laptop plugged in to run from week to week, but that shouldn't matter. It baffles me that one screen configuration setup that worked the previous week doesn't work the next week. Also, I don't appreciate that I can't find (this may be me, but again - not as intuitive) the CCLI number for songs we've already downloaded as I was able to in ProPresenter 6. PP7 is geared for streaming and seems to have made that a focus. We use Facebook for streaming because we have so much text on screen that it will require a complete redo to break the text screens from our liturgy into smaller lines of text on a page to allow for visuals and text on the same screen. Anyway, PP7 has been a disappointment and I don't think it's going to get any better for me because their focus seems to be more on streaming than multimedia display.

Using ProPresenter helps

Commenti: ProPresenter is something that we don't think we can live without in our production team. It makes things look so professional and very organized. It is such a great tool for our church.

Aspetti positivi:

ProPresenter is a key piece in our worship services on Sunday mornings, as well as any other services we may hold. It has been a tremendous asset to us in our production quality.

It tends to be a bit bulky and clunky. It's also not super user-friendly, as you do need training to be able to navigate it.

ProPresenter For Churches

Commenti: ProPresenter offers churches so much. It is a great software to purchase and use.

ProPresenter allows you to easily choose a variety of backgrounds, let's you edit text easily, allows you to put your slides in order, and labels everything appropriately.

Aspetti negativi:

There are several different systems displaying lyrics. It is all in what you get used to. I have used Powerpoint, MediaShout, and ProPresenter. It takes time to learn anything new and unfamiliar and everything has its pros and cons. ProPresenter overall is a great choice. Just be sure to give yourself time to learn all of its features.

Love Propresenter

Commenti: Overall ProPresenter has been amazing. Its advanced design is volunteer friendly and simple to learn. Importing songs have never been easier, and editing slides can be done within a click of a button. The customer service has always been helpful, and respond in a timely manner no matter what issues we have. Propresenter is a great tool for any church that is looking to step up their production.

The only con I have is Pro7 takes up lot CPU and GPUl. However, I understand it is a huge software, and it could just our PC. Of course the other issue would be the problems the recent update caused, but I respect the team admitting the flaw.

Fast and Amazing Tech Support

Easy to use, lost of options in ways to use and the tech support team is incredible and very patient with us as we are a smaller church trying to do BIG things without a tech guy!!!!

We have tech issues sometimes with it but the tech team is always super fast at getting us back and running!

The software helped me to create unique and beautiful presentations. It assisted me in maintaining student interest throughout presentations and lessons. There are lots of tools to use and choose from. There are many tools available for use and selection. Additionally, it is user-friendly and not overly difficult to use.

There are times that the program crashed maybe twice, however all my works was saved. I'm not so sure if it was the software's problem or just my device.

Best tool for displaying PPTS

I know that proPresenter is mainly used in churches for presentations but I can't help but use it as a developer to present my PPTs because it's an easy-to-use tool with a good GUI.

Commenti: Overall propresntor has been a really good choice for church presentation i feel along with live streaming, worship and church presentation.

There is wise range of multimedia support in the propresentor that i liked the most. The live video integration is definitely one of the best in the propresentor. The scripture database is also well structured and managed with really nice interface.

I feel like collaboration options can be even more expanded and also there is limited automation that also need to be worked upon and increased. Rest of the things i dont have any complaints.

ProPresenter for Churches

Commenti: We have been using ProPresenter for four years and our overall experience has been good. There are always videos online that help when we need to figure out a new feature of the program.

We use ProPresenter weekly in our church services. All of our worship music plus slides for announcements and sermons and lessons are presented using this program.

I cannot think of any major cons for this program. We have been able to utilize it for all of our needs.

A Must-Have for church presentation

Commenti: Its an amazing program and having migrated from ProPresenter 6 to ProPresenter7 I can see and enjoy the improvements in the layout and features.

Its an all-in-one package with bible versions that makes it easy to load verses for presentation. One other great feature is that we can do YouTube streaming directly from ProPresenter.

There is really nothing to not like about ProPresenter.
