Sketch, a complete design platform built for spectacular creations.
Commenti: Sketch is a mature and very stable tool. It has simple administration facilities to create a collaborative workspace, and its learning curve is low. Its design tools encourage creativity and it has a set of templates that simplify the work to start a new project. In general, it focuses on strengthening the tools for a neat design and providing extensive types of styles, good color management, and a development interface that manages the history of actions very well.
Aspetti positivi:
Sketch has proven to be a very lightweight and easy-to-use program for designers, and we don't need a lot of processing power to run it. On the other hand, its simplicity of use and its ability to be widely interactive, anyone with design knowledge can use Sketch. Additionally, it can be our main platform when we talk about web design, mobile user interface creation, icon design and organizational branding, and almost anything we need. The layout of the tool and its functionalities are mainly focused on offering the best features to present the best web design and prototyping work. Sketch provides us with grids and an interface to keep our work very well structured, as well as options to customize the main screen based on our needs.
Aspetti negativi:
Sketch has a large number of users who have selected it for prototyping, design, and branding. However, its market is aimed at Mac users, so it is possible that some users cannot take advantage of this technology. On the other hand, Sketch can be used to the maximum by designers who specialize in the area of layout, prototyping, and branding, but for users who do not have experience in these areas, its adoption is a little more difficult.
It's a good design software, especially if you start small
Commenti: It's still a great design software with flexibility and ease of use. If you want a cheap, commercial licence, go for it. A lot of integration and compatibility :) Worth the money for sure!
Aspetti positivi:
It is still possible to edit SVG files; it's super helpful and still not supported in Figma. It's a cheap licence if you start with a design.
Aspetti negativi:
Definitely lost the first seat to Figma. Cooperation online, direct changes, no fuss just design is something that is still hard to work on in Sketch. It simply doesn't work in the big companies anymore
A tiny bit pricey
Commenti: I use it for everything – web design, mobile apps, icons, you name it. Before Sketch, I was juggling a bunch of different programs, and it was a real headache. This is way more streamlined and intuitive.
Aspetti positivi:
Absolutely love how easy it is to create and edit vector graphics. The interface is clean and uncluttered, which makes it a joy to use. And the plugins are a lifesaver! They add so much extra functionality.
Aspetti negativi:
Honestly, can't think of anything major. Maybe a tiny bit pricey, but it's worth every penny for the time it saves me.
Its on of the best tool for UI/UX designers.
Commenti: The reason why people are switching to sketch from other software is that unlike Adobe illustrator, Sketch is designed by designer for desgner for digital interfaces specifically. The UI and tools are designed in way that they are easier to use while the plugins help users to go into the detail of a particular action.
Aspetti positivi:
One of the main reason why people choose sketch over other similar software is its plugins. Plugins link Autolayout, Magic mirror and Git sketch makes your life easier. It can be easily connected to Invision for easy prototyping and presentation. It is also extremely easy to learn sketch if you are trying to switch from Adobe illustrator or photoshop.
Aspetti negativi:
I find that Sketch is almost perfect while there are a couple of things that can be improved like the software is only available on Mac OS and not on windows which makes it difficult to share editable files with some clients and freelancers. Unlike Figma, sketch which doesnt allow to access your file from anywhere and also doesnt allow multiple people to work on a same file.
Alternative considerate:
Prototyping service first used
Commenti: I use it to create wireframe design compositions. The excellent compatibility with cloud-sharing tools of Sketch is highlighted because it facilitates communication with engineers. It's also nice that there is a significant synergistic effect with other tools. It automatically generates CSS. We recommend Sketch if you want to keep costs down. I created a simulation of the service and shared an image before implementation.
Aspetti positivi:
Before the introduction, I was doing web design and application design (wire, mock) with other software, but after the release of Sketch, I changed completely. Compared to others, the cost of introduction can be reduced. Anyway, the operation is light and works smoothly.
Aspetti negativi:
People who are used to other programs will get stuck with shortcuts. There are many pretty excellent add-ons, but the administration is complicated
A Powerful and Intuitive Tool for Vector-based Design
Commenti: As a user of Sketch, I appreciate how easy it is to create vector graphics and designs using the software. The interface is user-friendly and the design tools are intuitive, making it easy to bring my ideas to life. I also enjoy the large community of users and resources available for learning and troubleshooting. However, I have encountered some issues with the software being slow or buggy when working with large files or complex designs. Additionally, as a Windows user, I am unable to use Sketch as it is only available for macOS.
Aspetti positivi:
1.User-friendly interface with intuitive design tools2.Optimized for creating vector graphics, making it easy to scale artwork without loss of quality3.Large community of users and resources for learning and troubleshooting4.Support for plugins and integrations with other design tools5.Regular updates and improvements to the software
Aspetti negativi:
1.Only available for macOS, limiting accessibility for some users2.Limited functionality for photo editing or working with raster images3.Some advanced design features may require plugins or additional software4.Can be slow or buggy when working with large files or complex designs5.Steep learning curve for beginners who are new to vector-based design
Sketch is perfect for iOS and Android app design
Commenti: Overall, I'm very happy with Sketch. It's a perfect compact design tool thats great for app design specifically. This is none better for this. If for general design, then perhaps better tools and software exists.
Aspetti positivi:
I've used sketch since 2014 to create iPhone user interfaces, their icons and promotional material. It's very easy to create, share and distribute images and vectors.
Aspetti negativi:
I purchased Sketch outright when I first started, then a few years later they bought in a subscription model. Now I am forced to pay a yearly sub in order to maintain the latest features. This I felt was unfair at the time and still feel a little bitter about. That being said, it still works out cheaper than other design software overall, even when paying yearly. I also think their vector creation tools could be a little better. I have a separate piece of software to make vectors. Sketch is pretty basic.
Sketch used for creating user interfaces,
Commenti: Overall, Sketch offers collaborative features that facilitate teamwork and feedback. Designers can share their designs with stakeholders, receive comments and annotations, and collaboratively rework designs. This has allowed us to streamline the design review and feedback process.
Aspetti positivi:
Sketch offers a wide range of design tools and features to create visually appealing, pixel-perfect designs. It includes features such as symbols, tables, layer styles and a powerful inspection panel, making it effective for designing complex user interfaces.
Aspetti negativi:
Limited platform compatibility: Sketch is currently only available for macOS, which means it is not accessible for designers using other operating systems such as Windows or Linux.
sketch review
Aspetti positivi:
It is used for vector designing free of use
Aspetti negativi:
i have no dislike in usage of sketch and it is not difficult
Fancy app design tool
Commenti: Provides robust agility for designing Application prototyping.
Aspetti positivi:
The sketch is also great for designing amazing prototypes.- It's user-friendly with a well-optimized workflow framework- Rich in typography, icons, and colors- Also online based- Integration versality (polyvalent )
Aspetti negativi:
- It still lacks advanced components for wireframing and design mockups- It's expensive - overall design quality is inferior to alternative apps like Figma
Alternative considerate:
Sketch is an awesome prototyping too for information technology agency.
Commenti: I also solve my web design & development service. When I get any client this time they want a live demo of how to look there website. This time I create a prototype using Sketch. I can create very fast and easily from here.
Aspetti positivi:
Our company offers a full suite of IT Services Like web design & Development, Graphics Design, also digital marketing, so our prototyping needs to run and then hand off to my UX counterparts. Sketch allows us to manage both ends of the spectrum and everything in between, ensuring consistency and collaboration between team members. They then take those and turn them into high-fidelity designs that we use to test with customers. Sketch works great for this.
Aspetti negativi:
Sometimes keyboard shortcuts are not the same as photoshop. This system needs to improve I think. Because maximum designer uses photoshop that why you design your keyboard shortcut like photoshop then much easier for your user.
It’s great!
Aspetti positivi:
Customer service and friendly to students.
Aspetti negativi:
I needed to use craft to replaced sketch mirror.
Sketch Review
Commenti: Its 2D capabilities are impressive and effective. This software is recommended for those seeking practical and versatile 2D graphic design software for their digital design projects.
Aspetti positivi:
I've been using this software to make digital designs because I like the features it offers. It is simple to use and learn, which is why I like it. The software has also helps me to speed up and significantly reduce the amount of time I spend on design tasks. Overall, if you're looking for a user-friendly design tool, I highly suggest it.
Aspetti negativi:
What I like least about this software is its limited 3D capabilities because it is primarily a 2D design tool. However, as a user of this software, I find it a very useful and powerful tool for designing.
application for companies High
Aspetti positivi:
this app is one of the platforms for digital design for one or a group of people as a like company
Aspetti negativi:
this app is very useful for users to make digital designs and no concern about this app while you are using it
Review of Sketch
Commenti: I really enjoying to use this app. Creative ideas are embrace to public
Aspetti positivi:
Easy to use and various types of contents, designs, styles.
Aspetti negativi:
I think only one drawback is sometimes it makes lag. Otherwise no issue
One of the best UI design tools in the market
Commenti: Being a UX and visual designer, Sketch has been the primary software on my computer for years now. Loved the product since its initial release and had been an advocate and a supporter mainly due to how it disrupted the UI design software field. I would like Sketch to improve to keep up with their competition since many designers are now moving to Figma just like how everyone moved from Photoshop and Illustrator to Sketch. Still would recommend any designer to go for Sketch.
Aspetti positivi:
Sketch was the revolutionary software that introduced UI/UX and visual designers with a tool created for that specific task which is creating interfaces. The vector graphic software doesn't limit you there; you are able to create posters, logos or even billboards with its intuitive and easy to learn clean interfaces. The toolbars consist of the standard functions and operators which you usually find in such software. The power of Sketch is beyond the limitations of your own imagination I would say. The symbols feature allows you to create reusable visual components which come in handy when designing multiple interfaces of a product or an app. Going a bit further, these features allow designers to create design languages and design systems very easily as well. There are hundreds of plugins that could be used to further ease the workflow. Sketch also integrates with other tools like Invision (prototyping) and Abstract (version control) which allows the creation of an ecosystem for the designer.
Aspetti negativi:
Sketch in recent years has got multiple competitors like AdobeXD and Figma which sometimes make Sketch fall behind the race in terms of features and functionality. Learning from the failures of Sketch, the competitor products always try to provide better value for money while optimising the workflows for the designer. Major updates from Sketch at most instances lately have been extremely buggy which sometimes even took weeks for them to release a patch. Sketch is only available on Mac which also limits the cross-platform support, unlike its competition. If you are designing a product that has multiple artboards (50+), Sketch tends to become laggy and resource-consuming even on the latest i7 Mac with 16GB of RAM.
Best UI Design tool for Mac
Aspetti positivi:
- Sketch provides a great variety of plugins for designing User Interfaces of Apps-Easy to use and not overwhelming like other design software-Creating prototypes and smooth flow is very easily integrated -Collaborating in teams is easy- Sketch is a tool solely for UX designers and does not require a lot of learning to get started-Offline workflow makes it easier to design on the go anywhere
Aspetti negativi:
-Not available for windows. - App for iPad would be great integration for designing on the go or to view the design
Superseded by better alternatives
Commenti: Sketch is decent, but it's difficult to justify using it now that tools like Figma exist. Figma does a better job in almost every field, and therefore as an overall tool Sketch remains a runner-up. On the other hand, if you have to use it, or if the team has a preference for it, you won't have any problems.
Aspetti positivi:
Sketch used to be the go-to tool for app design - it still has all the features you need to put together great UI and layouts for screens.
Aspetti negativi:
There are just better options available now - Figma does a better job as an all-rounder, ProtoPie is better for prototyping, and even Adobe XD is decent.
Keeping this short, Sketch is what UI designers should be using - not Adobe anything.
Commenti: I adopted Sketch with the free beta years ago in desperation of not switching back and forth between apps like InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Pixelmator, Omnigraffle (yup), and other apps that now feel like makeshift solutions to doing proper UI design. Adobe now has XD, but in my opinion, it's too little too late. I'm beyond knee deep in Sketch and far too busy to re-learn what I already know in what feels like OG UI design tool for the modern designer.
Aspetti positivi:
Sketch feels purposeful, like the creators knew there was a hole in the design market that needed a way to do both wire framing and high fidelity mock-ups with ease and the flexibility of Illustrator. Right when you think Adobe's "next big update" is going to make Sketch obsolete, Sketch comes out with the next wave of features, improvements, and 3rd party plugins that just remind you why you've stayed for so long.
Aspetti negativi:
The only con I can think of is compatibility between how Sketch renders vectors with how Adobe uses it. For the most part, you don't have many issues. But once in a while you'll work with some "old school" team that sends you an Adobe file containing assets for your UI project that you'd rather open in Sketch. Then you do, and it's hit or miss. However, a good designer has Adobe, can clean it up and make it usable in Sketch with a little expert know-how.
Can create a masterpiece in minutes makes my life easier.
Commenti: This is a go to software for me. It has everything I could possibly need.
Aspetti positivi:
I love all the tools the look of the software and all the ways to manage and store everything I create. This software is even fun to use.
Aspetti negativi:
There is t really anything I dislike it works smoothly and hasn't messed up.
I've moved on to bigger better things
Commenti: Sketch used to be the leader. It's just not anymore. Use Figma instead.
Aspetti positivi:
Sketch was such a game changer when it first launched. It destroyed Adobe in the UI/UX space but now there are so many players I don't think it's the best option. Sketch is a great tool for web and mobile design. Unlike Adobe products they simplified everything and just gave you the tools you needed to do your job. But like I said I think there are better options now.
Aspetti negativi:
The problem with sketch is it's still a desktop application that produces individual design files on your local machine. This may seem like a small thing but it's a huge problem when you're working witha team and trying to keep versions of your design files in sync. We now use Figma and it's all web based, version controled, and easily shared and viewd by anyone. Think of it this way, Sketch is like saving a word doc on your computer that has to be shared with 10 other people for their edits. Figma is like using google docs where all 10 people can be working on the same doc at the same time and see each other's edits. It's a game changer. So between Figma (my favorite), Adobe XD, Principle, Origami, Invision Studio, and other options, I just don't think Sketch is as good as it once was. (ps... use Figma. It's the best)
The ultimate tool for UI and UX Designer
Commenti: Awesome tool for designers, Evolving with each release.
Aspetti positivi:
I loved how it's centered to user interface design. We used to use photoshop to design User Interface, though Photoshop is a very robust tool but the features are not UI Design centric, It is capable of doing a lot of things hence UI is not the focus here for Adobe. I love sketch because it is capable of doing one thing and does smartly. Though they have almost all of the basic features required for interface design, Plugins are icing on the cake. If you don't find anything you want the tool to do, 99% chances are you will find a plugin which does.
Aspetti negativi:
The subscription model and backward non-compatibility. You need to renew the subscription annually in order to receive an upgrade and that's okey or how the company will make money. What I don't like is you can't open Newer version of the file in Older version. If you work in a team and 6 people are working on one file, everyone needs to use the same version of the software.
SKETCH Helped us to make our design process productive
Commenti: We recently got into web and app design industry and with help of sketch our quality of designs improved and it helped us to get more projects and with help of sketch we can get our team members to collaborate on a single design and it worked out really well and we are happy using sketch and definitely recommend if you have better spec device
Aspetti positivi:
the best features of sketch is we can create vector artwork and then import it to make digital devices prototypes , we can scale up the projects and collaborate with our team members using sketch, it is an industry standard tool which is used to create professional designs for digital devices, like web or mobile design. it has all the features that is required for a design tool. we can add multiple plugins and it can handle bigger projects easily.
Aspetti negativi:
there is not much of drawback using sketch but it is a bit costly for business and also the files created a larger than expectations so it tends to slow down the device sometimes apart from that it does its job very well.
