Not Just Search - Best Bill Tracking

Commenti: We had bootstrapped our own bill tracking service for many years, but due to some technical issues, we went to the market to fill this need which is critical to our client service and doing our work day to day. Engagifii not only looked good on paper they had met our expectations in practice. When we have run into technical issues during implementation or the occasional system glitch, the tech support and customer service e team has been very responsive.

Aspetti positivi:

As a lobbying firm, it is critical for us to track and report legislation as it moves through the process for our clients. Engagifii has superior reporting options than any other product on the market. In addition, the bill tracking system is top notch allowing for comments to be included and tracking of bills in many methods including bill status and priority. Lots of bill tracking products focus on searching for a bill, but have limited tracking and reporting options. Engagifii is the whole package.

Aspetti negativi:

The Customer Service and Tech Support teams are very responsive and have been working with us to tweak their reporting options to eliminate duplicative efforts. The reports work great, but the Engagifii team have gone above and beyond to help us reduce extra efforts on our end. The system has notifications, but we are working with them to load bills and thus notifications quicker.

Good product, great customer service

Commenti: Customer support from Engagifii has been top notch. The team is available and willing to listen and quick to respond to/resolve issues.

Secure separate server for member information; ease of registration; customization

Aspetti negativi:

Some features are not yet available that are critical to the system (i.e., ability to withdraw candidates from classes, ability to delete courses).

Takes Some Getting Used To.....

Commenti: The parent company we use elected to use this product so we don't have a choice other than to use it but it provides about the same amount of information as any other product of its type.

Aspetti positivi:

The registration process is easy for professional learning.

Aspetti negativi:

I don't really see many improvements over the system that was already in place (Capitol Impact) for registration. The notifications that approval is needed are sometimes glitchy, at best.

Aspetti positivi:

We use engagifii to track legislation during the general legislative session. It is has helpful tagging and tracking features and it is nice to be able to have multiple users.

Aspetti negativi:

Some of the tagging and tracking aren't as nimble or customizable as we would like. It would be nice to have a foundational summary that could be different than notes on specific language as well as track our bill position over time as various substitutes and amendments come forward.

Commenti: When the program was merely a legislative tracking program, it worked fine. As the company expanded and started going into new areas, it got spread thin and started to crack. When they were unable to deliver what was promised and paid for, we had to change to another company that could fit our needs.

Aspetti positivi:

I really liked the ability to track legislation and work with my team on analyzing bills.

Aspetti negativi:

The product had bugs and at times did not work as promised. New problems were encountered years after rollout. Some times patches and improvements were applied during the middle of the legislative session causing chaos. Some functionality didn't make logical sense.

Aspetti positivi:

This system has improved our organization's overall communication efforts. We now can view if our messages were delivered and opened. We are able to use code or build templates within the system for branding and marketing purposes.

Aspetti negativi:

The platform's interface isn't visually appealing, but it gets the job done. If the user isn't familiar with the system, it can seem intimidating because of all the capability functions.

The updated software gives us the opportunity to have a fresh, clean, current look, which is appealing to our customers. Any change is difficult, but the support and ease of use continues to make the transition painless.

The software itself is not the problem. We have to learn to use it and it is completely different from what we were using. This is our problem. Not the product, but the key had been the support!

The ability to communicate and exchange information, as well as post information for review and comment to multiple users has given us a huge advantage on our advocacy programs such as legislation.

Aspetti negativi:

When working with Capital Impact, the ability or ease to update email and reports is difficult at times and cumbersome. Editing, for example, make it difficult to import pictures, or Word and PowerPoint documents.
