In any case, the software gives to you a lot of functionalities in a lightweight product. All the characteristics of any CAD software, are present in ZW, and many functionalities that make it unique and powerfull. The independent features that the software have, gives a plus at the moment when you are going to buy a CAD software. Compared to other CAD softwares, ZW3D has focused on reducing the number of inputs by the user when creating features, it has some shortcuts that are very helpful and intuitive to use. the hybrid (part/assembly) environment works well and gives the user some more freedom. The possibility to create a standard component is very useful. > > **Inconvenienti**: When in assemblies, setting dependencies between parts can cause some problems when modifying and updating. Sometimes the software would crash without apparent reason. > > I used ZW3D when working in Tool and Die design, and also used the sheet metal module which worked very well.
