Sales process was very professional, good interaction between their sales team and the product team to let us know what's available and possible lent a good level of confidence for our selection process. Their implementation team is committed and gave us as much or as little help as we needed, depending on us to guide them in how much we wanted to do vs their team. They have a wide range of clients already on-line, so have good experience of how to approach solutions. > > **Inconvenienti**: We did find that the amount of content (templates) etc didn't necessarily tie up with what was mentioned during the sales process. For a big company implementation with a dedicated graphics team to design content for e,g, backgrounds for books, cards etc - that isn't an issue. For a smaller team like this, it meant we didn't go live with as wide a range of designs as we thought we would - but it still was more than sufficient. It did seem at times that we had to "reinvent the wheel" - items we were surprised that hadn't been implemented before. I think that having a "best practices" champion internally across the product range in PB would be a good role to fill - and that they would then work with the Client and Implementation Team to apply best practices from other implementations. We felt that too many times we were starting with a clean slate, rather than a suggestion from Printbox that a solution already existed. > > Overall, its both an elegant solution and also sometimes a confusingly mad solution in the backend. As a developer in my past life, I can totally understand why the solution in the backend is so database and fields driven - it allows for a lot of flexibility in rolling out products with very little development, just configuration. But it is completely confusing for a product administrator who hasn't a strong technical background. The team are very enthusiastic and super helpful - which overcomes much of the challenges. So, overall we would recommend the product and the solution, but be prepared to do a lot of homework during the implementation and be prepared to either have a dedicated resource internally to build out the products or to give it all over the Printbox to do. Also, we had a Web Developer on our client team - and he found that he could do a lot of the look and feel of the website himself, but there is a challenge sometimes where the Printbox Solution sits on top of Shopware and that in some circumstances this integration made customising the website more complicated than one would have expected. Then again, at other times, changes were made easier.
