In the very few occasions when I needed clarification, customer support has been superb and sent me prompt and thorough answers to all types of questions.
Even my special requests about not yet implemented features were addressed.

The initial customers were individuals from all around the world who were interested in the least-expensive version. 
They paid a one-off amount and received the license immediately per email from dna. 
Today, dna administers and manages Deriscope licenses issued to both individual and corporate clients. 
The latest issued license has been issued to a banking institution, supports over 20 users, is subscription-based and validated on a monthly basis.
