Tuition Express

The fact that you can only take up to $3,000 at one time for families. I sometimes have to do 2 transactions for families that have more than one child for a 5 week month due to it exceeding the $3,000 limit.

I wish Tuition Express offered small business loans/lines of credit based on the volume of sales handled through their software.

1. In order for it to auto-charge credit card fees, the parents can't pay through the app but have to login online. 2. only one login at tuition express.com per school? WHAT? More than one of us works on the billing. Their solution? Give the other person my login info. How is that secure? 3. The Tuition Express button on the desktop version is not the same as tuitionexpress.com and doesn't do the same stuff (and neither is the same as the billing button on the online version!). 4. Getting set up involved 3 separate training meetings to go over different features, but they were all with the SAME person! (Who it turned out didn't know what he was doing-- half the time I was telling him what to click on!)

The least thing I enjoy is the extra processing fees charged regardless of the amount of business you process.

We did have the system glitch on the office manager one time. She was trying to charge a customized amount rather than the whole balance and the customer ended up getting charge for the full balance due to this glitch-the screen went black for half a second. (It's hard to say if that was the internet or the software however) Unfortunately, there isn't a way to add the balance back onto the account so our company owner could only reimburse the customer via a check.
