The program is easy to learn and explain to other non-finance people to use. It offers the best customer support which is very friendly and fast-reacted to any issues arise.

Our overall experience with Lightyear has been very positive.
The team listen to customer feedback. The software is very good at saving you time. Say goodbye to tiring amounts of data entry! Those days are gone.
You can now focus more on Financial Reporting & Analysis of your business, instead of wasting hours processing invoices manually.
My job has turned from 80% of time spent on data entry to less than 15%. I now use this spare time to assist our Senior Accountant with more important tasks, like reporting. This has improved our Finance Team's quality of work significantly and the time saved is well worth the monthly fees you pay to Lightyear.

Greatly improves the Accounts Payable & Inventory functions of your business. Significantly reduces the time spent on repetitive tasks like invoice processing and data entry. It allows Accountants to focus more on financial reporting and analysis. The benefit of this can not be understated. For the amount you pay, you will get far greater returns in terms of time saved and output. Try Lightyear! You will not regret it!
Aspetti negativi:
As with any developing technology; it is in a state of constant improvement. Not all processes are perfect.
That being said, the Lightyear Team release regular updates that improve functionality. They are also very open to your feedback, and make updates based on customer feedback. I have only been using Lightyear for 1 year, yet the amount of Improvements has been incredible. The smart extract feature, for example, has improved the functionality of Lightyear ten-fold.

We mainly use it for invoice processing and approvals and PO's
Aspetti negativi:
PO's can't be converted into invoices.
The rounding is sometimes incorrect and doesn't carry through to Quickbooks

Aspetti positivi:
I have worked around Accounts Payable for more than 30 years and have never worked on a system that is so comprehensively detailed and easy to use - I can't ask for more. Everything at my fingertips.
Nice to remove the paper/postage/scanning element.
Support for bugs and development at the other end of Phone and resolutions are immediate or put forward for future development.
Lightyear would save money re: employment, as saves valuable time and requires less staff.
Great tool to educate new staff.
Haven't included Procurement package but I guess would integrate with PL.
No security issues within the start of 2024 to now.
Honest I would recommend.
Even a Trial would open your eyes.

Obviously the integration of any system can be daunting. But the end result is well worth the Pain..

Our experience with Lightyear has been excellent. It has reduced processing time, improved accuracy, and made training new staff much easier. The support we received from [sensitive content hidden] was outstanding—he worked hands-on with our finance team, tailored the setup to our needs, and was always available to quickly resolve any hurdles. The whole onboarding and adoption process was seamless and gave us confidence across the team.
Aspetti positivi:
Lightyear has dramatically sped up our accounts payable processing by automating what was previously a very manual task. The ability to set up departmental approval processes has been a big win—everything is consistent, structured, and easy for staff to follow. The platform is also very user-friendly, making it simple to train new team members.
Aspetti negativi:
Initially, getting your head around the process takes a little time, but with training and practice it becomes straightforward and easy to use.
