Still as good as it was

Commenti: My experience has been mostly positive. The pricing is great; the lifetime deal years ago was the only investment I had to make. Apart from that one time when choosing a specific location shows a completely different location using an IP checker, this was promptly fixed with an update.

I've been using VPN for years and the first main reason I chose it back then was because of the lifetime subscription deal I saw on TheNextWeb. For the price, I thought it was a great deal, and I have no regrets. The servers are great with most of the locations I actually need present. The streaming server also works great for Netflix.

Aspetti negativi:

It's honestly hard to fault VPN unlimited, but I wish they had more servers in the Middle East.

So far the best VPN I have used

Commenti: As mentioned, streaming is important to me, especially music. With others I was unable to listen to Apple Music, watch Netflix etc. This one I can use for personal needs and work. And let's be honest we're all working from home and watching Netflix on our second monitor....

Out of the several VPNs I have used, this is by far my favorite. I found it on sale for a lifetime subscription and the price was so good I thought what could I lose. SO glad I did. The options for servers is amazing, they let you know which one is a good one for streaming services. That was a huge selling point for me. They also offer other services which you can buy to work in tandem with your VPN.

Aspetti negativi:

There is absolutely nothing I dislike so far. I'm pretty critical and I usually fine something but I have loved it from top to bottom.

Not the best option for speed or if you want to save money, but it gets the job done

Commenti: The experience was not satisfying at first and there are better options. I have subscriptions to other VPNs as well. Like Avira Prime, Windscribe and cyberghost. I prefer avira prime and cyberghost over this, but I still use it.

I think the ease of use is what is most attractive about KeepSolid VPN unlimited. You can choose recommended options for "All servers" "Streaming" or "Torrents". You can see the signal strength for each server and select the fastest one for your preference. There's a lot to choose from too. If you want to stream something that's specific to your country while you are on vacation or you're back from a vacation from some foreign country where you liked some show that cannot be streamed from your country, you can just trust KeepSolid to help you. There are streaming specific server recommendations. There's a ping test to check the response times too. For those who aren't sure about which server to use for best results, there's an automatic selection. The optimal server would give you the best performance. But of course if you want some specific server, you can always choose those. And there are regular updates which is always welcome when they are not broken like windows updates...

Aspetti negativi:

What I found most annoying wasn't the speed drop. It was the fact that some of the servers were banned in many a website. And the customer service isn't all that great. The regular updates have improved the performance from being rather slow (when compared to avira phantom VPN and cyberghost) to being good enough but has got room for improvement. Another problem that should be mentioned is that sometimes it takes some time to get connected and sometimes it gets disconnected for no good reason.

Worth the try, strong VPN

Gets the job done

Commenti: I recommend it - it works better and is updated more frequently than most VPNs out there. Their pricing on the app is expensive though (they've reduced it recently) - you can usually find a really cheap deal for the lifetime option on slackshare.

Aspetti positivi:

I like how sleek the program looks - I'm also a big fan of the chrome extension, since it allows me to open one window with the default IP (in incognito) and a separate window with a selected VPN IP. The private server option for a static IP is also incredibly affordable and runs very well. User management is very easy as well, only one complaint about removing idle users (see below). Customer service is very responsive and accommodating.

Aspetti negativi:

The updates notifications are sometimes glitchy - I've had cases where I need to update but I'm actually unable to and have to instead uninstall and reinstall the application entirely. I also don't like the limit for removing users to 1 per week - I can understand limiting it, but I think that it can be more lenient. I also don't like that a desktop app and chrome extension installed on the same machine count as 2 separate users (even though it's clearly only one machine). I've also had some problems updating payment method when the selected method was PayPal.

VPN is Okay as per the price

Commenti: It's a budget VPN. It you need a premium VPN at less price you can absolutely go for KeepSolid VPN Unlimited.

It's price, KeepSolid VPN Unlimited is very cheap like it starts at 9$ a month. Considering the price, It does have variety of options for switching between the countries and does supports streaming mode which surprisingly works okay. It has browser extension for easy access to premium VPN.

Aspetti negativi:

Streaming mode doesn't always works and I found the IP leakage several times. It doesn't have Indian Server in browser extension which shucks! also the Indian server in their application is slower than the free Indian VPN.

A Great VPN for many uses

Commenti: I purchased the lifetime infinity subscription a few years ago and have had it work the majority of the time. Right when I first started using the software I would have issues every now and then. Since they do updates all the time I feel that they have fixed those bugs and I have uptime whenever I need it. I haven't had any hacking that I am aware of while using the software either. I would definitely purchase this again if I needed to.

It works! I have used this software for a few years and have never really had any issues with it. They update the software and apps every few weeks so you feel as if it stays secure.

I may not be a fan of the newer interface but it has never proven to be a problem. I do wish they had more VPN connections throughout the United States but they do have quite a few so this is just grasping at straws for things to be better.

Simple and Easy to use. Fast connection at a very affordable price

Just simply login and activate the vpn. Then everything went smoothly. The best of unlimited vpn is fast internet speed and almost no delay

Sometimes I have trouble logging in and the application just keeps loading, it doesn't go into the vpn dashboard. If that happens I have to disconnect the vpn from the device, and reconnect it manually. Maybe this happens every 2 months. I still don't know what caused this to happen.

My first paid VPN

I started using Keepsolid VPN in 2018, I couldn't be more happy then. There was a particular website I was working with, I needed a VPN to work on it more effectively, and Keepsolid came to the rescue. I also fell in love with it for the several fast servers it has, this enabled me to switch between servers easily.

Aspetti negativi:

Keepsolid didn't give me 100% anonymity, but I didn't expect that anyways.

I have found it to be very reliable and simple to use. I have had a problem with previous VPNs that they would drop out without warning, leaving my PC or mobile unprotected. This has not happened even once in the year that I have been using it. VPN Unlimited has some very nice extras that you can purchase, such as a personal static IP or a Personal Server for enhanced throughput.

My only problem I have is that VPN Unlimited does not support limitting the VPN connection to specific apps while other apps use the direct connection. This has caused problems where I need a local connection, such as to my bank, at the same time that I need VPN access to other sites.

Best VPN for the money

Low cost VPN that mostly works

Commenti: Overall I love it. It's probably not as secure as a more expensive VPN (but maybe it is? No idea, I'm not a techy), but it's cheap and provides me a sense of safety while I'm browsing the internet.

I was able to buy a lifetime subscription, for not that much money. It's great to purchase a service once and not have to be nickel and dimed every year as prices increase.

Aspetti negativi:

Functionality. In general, it works great. But a handful of websites simply won't load or will have issues displaying the CSS correctly. And, I can only have 5 devices registered, which seems like enough until you forget to delete an old phone or laptop and discover you can only remove one device per week.

Does it really work?

Commenti: On the whole it works OK. Could be smoother in operation especially on my laptop.

On my computer I need to use the password much more frequently than on my phone or tablet. It often takes some time to connect. On my phone if I clear the cache it shuts down. I want it on all the time. On the computer it's difficult to know it's on (unlike say like Dropbox which has a tick to tell you its up to date)

Look elsewhere!

Commenti: They refused to issue a refund after auto-charing me for a full year renewal without any kind of reminder. I haven't used their service in months. The customer service agents sent a form email about how they only refund within 14 days of your first purchase. If they were actually proud of their product and cared about their customers there would be no reason for a "gotcha clause" like that. They provided zero benefit and are keeping the fee for another full year. I would never work with a company like this or buy any of their products on principle alone.

Quick to install and deploy

I really liked the speed I could install and set up my VPN Unlimited package. Within minutes I'd successfully activated my VPN on my laptop. The instructions were clear and the process was efficient.

Great value for money

I didn't know about KeepSolid before receiving an offer to purchase their product at a discounted rate. I tried with little expectations and I've to admit that it is a great product. There are a lot of locations and the speed is decent. I mainly use it with OpenVPN connections and both on desktop and mobile. If you find an offer don't let it pass.

Aspetti negativi:

The console is not extremely clear and probably there is margin for improvement. On the other hand, the console is used vary rarely and what is important (the vpn) works wonderfully.

Cheap but useless

Commenti: I basically wasted my money on it as I no longer use it. I even purchased addons to it to add 5 additional slots to my account!

It's affordable and almost the cheapest vpn you can get. But you get what you pay for.

Had difficulties installing it when I had other VPN clients installed on my PC. This is the only VPN that asks you to uninstall other VPN clients before it works! Also on Firefox the vpn plugin won't connect if you have other vpn plugins installed on firefox. No other vpn requires the removal of competitor plugins before it works.
