It integrates \*almost\* seamlessly with our accounting platform and allows our team to process their card transactions and monitor their budgets as real time as possible. The learning curve is almost non-existent for new users. Expense reimbursements and repayments are processed quickly through their linked bank accounts. Approval workflow and security is outstanding. Both can be tailored to mirror policies. While the free version didn't work for us, the paid version is definitely a worth the investment. > > **Inconvenienti**: There are two things that I don't love. One is the default statement appearance. The merchant categories don't always reflect the goods/services purchased from the vendor, which can be confusing. It would be great if there was an alternative. The other is that you have to trigger the export to your accounting platform. Interest paid frequently with CCs. > > **Inconvenienti**: Brex, like many of the newer tech-first type of banks, is over engineered and clunky on the basics. Day-to-day ops: - They don't do debit cards, only credit cards. Which is great for the fractional interest kick backs, but a nightmare if you want simple cash flow tracking. - They require a third-party bank to receive international wires. I had multiple international clients run into issues with the wording and coding to get the wire transfer to get processed. Closing the account: - For whatever reason, when you go through the online portal to close your account, you will see an 'Account Closed' confirmation on your page, but be warned: YOUR CREDIT CARDS ARE ALLOWED TO REMAIN OPEN TO CHARGES\! There was no alert to the user that one MUST CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE TO HAVE YOUR CARDS CLOSED. You can't actually do it online NOR does the closing of the account automatically cancel the cards, nor any alert whatsoever to call customer support. 6 weeks after I had closed my account LinkedIn hit my card with a rogue charge. When I contacted support to reject the fraudulent charge, not only did they refuse to reject the charge to the credit card (which is industry norm and why businesses use CCs and not debits so as to have some insurance against fraud) they also did not take responsibility that the account had been closed for 6 weeks and therefore the card should have not been able to be charged. I was left on the hook for the $108 charge. And only then did they actually close the cards.
