There is a team of 5 of us, and we were becoming a little overwhelmed with workflow as our firm is growing fast. I search on google for two months to find a practice management software. I found FC via a reddit text thread! My team tried the two week trial and purchased before the trial was over because we felt an immediate relief once we set it up. The set up was super easy and the templates are AMAZING. I was able to get my emails down to ZERO (although for a short time)! In fact, i can check my email in FC. I love the integrations and am looking to try ReCat which is an upgrade within the software. This has eliminated a lot of mundane tasks. Plus, the price point is GREAT!

Essential Tool for Running My Firm
Commenti: SUPER EASY to set up. The pre-existing templates were easy to implement and tailor.

I love that is fully tailored for bookkeepers/accountants. It has features that are paramount to running a successful firm. I love the celebrations too when you close a project- just feels like someone is celebrating with you!

Commenti: Financial Cents has been an amazing addition to our up and coming CPA Firm. It is help us be organized with our clients information but with our workflow. I love the constant updates from the FC team and really love the customer engagement they have through Zoom meetings and social media groups.

Workflow and client management. As well as the Financial Cents teams continued improvement of the service and customer engagement.

There is no mobile app yet and they need to work on notifications.

I don't have to chase clients nearly as much with their to-do lists and client portals set up. They can ask questions, and I can add accountability tasks for clients for them to be reminded automatically, and everything is pretty customizable - including the reminder emails.
Aspetti negativi:
It's still growing and missing features like bulk movement in their document system, but they're working on it. They're great at listening to end-user input.

Commenti: From the initial discovery call to the onboarding, the experience has been good. It really is easy to set up and they provide so many training videos to guide you along.

How quick and easy it is to implement. We were up and running in a week, so that didn't impact our productivity and we still have training sessions left.

Commenti: Solved Pain points- 1 Pain, Hundred of emails from 1 client.. who has multiple businesses. So to assign an email to the exact Project Legal entity very helpfull. Ability to Copy in my Text SMS messages from Client- Time entry is great allows 10 minute intervals.

Commenti: Financial Cents is on the ball!!! After starting my bookkeeping firm a year ago, I spent hours and weeks evaluating a tech stack that would meet my needs. After a few failed attempts at other solutions, I landed on Financial Cents and haven't looked back! They know how to stay on top of feature updates that are meaningful and useful, and are embracing AI which was a must for me when selecting a platform. It's been a wonderful deployment and implementation and I'm excited to use more of the features as my firm grows

They are continually added useful features and updates that are meaningful in making the product easy to use. They are embracing AI and incorporating it into the templating process (super cool). The support from Financial Cents is outstanding, very responsive and in front of their community asking for feedback and feature requests to make our firm running easier. Oh and the Client Portal! Great portal that is easy for clients to use, no password required (magic links)
Aspetti negativi:
The one downside was that it lacked a way to integrate with the rest of my tech stack.... and BOOM! They just released Zapier support for integration! So the one thing I disliked, has now been taken care of!

I wish the price was a little lower for the customized portal. I am not sure I need integrated portal management. I do wish that it connected to Proconnect. We don't use Lacarte, so that would be useful.

Commenti: It has been a great experience. From our introductory call to the Facebook group we have been able to implement this new app fairly seamlessly.

The ability to change the workflow views for each team member so that they can see their own work in a way that suits their style. As management we love the capacity report to see who has time for the new clients we sign on. The client dashboard allows everyone to be able to see at a glance all the important information pertaining to that client. The relationships tab allows us to jump easily between all related businesses and that saves us a ton of search time.

We would like more reports to be available, ie to gather the information that is sitting on the client dashboard (from their about section or the activity section). We would like the ability to use the client chat feature outside of a project - so that they can communicate with us between projects.

The client portal (need a place to put client deliverables, this is a feature that will be coming) and document management systems don't function in a way that suits what I want. They are very similar to other similar systems like TaxDome, Canopy and Karbon, I am just very particular in these spaces. I like using CaseWare for document management

Making the swap over from Asana. Really excited to have an all-in-one solution specific to bookkeeping. FinancialCents will combine multiple software we currently use (asana, boomerang, lastpass, etc). We are always looking for ways to efficiently get our work done, FinancialCents was the obvious next step. The AI emails is extremely helpful, along with auto email sending once a task is completed. Automation is key.
