> **Vantaggi**: As with most QB products, this accounting system is simple, easy to use and the Advanced version has some really cool features such as Projects (project costing) Bank Feeds (automatic downloading of transactions which are then evaluated before allowing them inside your books).  We use Full Service payroll, use Time tracking (time clock), we were able to automate certain simple processes (tasks, recurring transactions, approvals), use other software for example field service managent third party integrations, amazon Business integration, receipt scanning etc. just to name a few cool things.  We are an electrical contractor.  This being a SAAS, they keep tinkering with it and adding features regularly.  Overall, the system is pretty stable, reliable and pleasant to work with.

> **Inconvenienti**: The Customer Service (Technical Support) experience is horrendous, it is the most time-wasting and frustrating experience I have ever had with software - and I say this after 20+ years of using different versions of Quickbooks.  In at least the last 10 years customer service has gotten really bad.  The front line support reps are little better than chatbots, incapable of even comprehending the issue to be able to escalate to higher level tiers, which are quick to reject and close out tickets without resolution, just to get it off their plate.  The social media response teams are not empowered to reopen tickets.  Angry and frustrated customers flood the comment sections of media posts intended to advertise new features.  The account managers (if you pay enough to be in the Priority Circle level you get an account manager) are similarly not empowered, they cannot even open a ticket.  All of this means that every time they misunderstand or mishandle something, you as the customer bear the burden of calling in and they put you through a 1-4 hour ringer to be waiting on hold, periodically come back to tell you that they are working on the issue but so far out of 10 different major issues I experienced over 10 years, not a single one of them ever got resolved.  I am a very advanced user and only call into support as a last resort.  None of my major issues were ever resolved, they just got closed out and I moved on.  Years later they sometimes finally make system updates and some issues just go away but some have not for 10+ years now.  You might rightly ask - why stick with this product then?  It is begrudgingly that I stay and the simple answer is because after so many years it is very difficult to switch and migrate to a new system.

> If you have no issues because you are a simple business and have very simple accounting, you can get a decent experience and good value for what this software offers.  If you are more advanced and actually care about what your chart of accounts looks like and want to customize it with account numbers and change the default names, beware.  If you also want to have control over what get classed where and use accrual basis of accounting where you regularly enter journal entries - my experience is that you will be frustrated from time to time with the system creating new accounts, duplicating accounts and chainging the field mapping in a way where one day you wake up and realize that your Payroll Liabilities are a complete mess with duplicate accounts and inconsistent entries. (this assumes Full Service Payroll where the service team does your payroll).  the average rating here on Capterra is about 4.3 stars for QBO Advanced which 0 in my opinion - does not accurately reflect the amount of frustration that is out there about the customer service piece.

> I work on both the QB desktop and QBO Advanced.  I prefer the QBO advanced version by far.  It has everything I need from auto post of recurring transactions, to AR and AP modules. It is very user friendly and so are has been able to perform every task I need.
