Spesso va in crash, e non è particolarmente stabile.

A valuable tool for newbies like me

Aspetti positivi:

As a newbie working as a freelancer, I am sometimes having difficulty understanding the instructions given to me by my client. But with the help of Loom, my client is able to provide and guide me thru the process using screen recording. In that way, I am able to finish the task on time and accurately. And it saves time since I can just watch the video again without needing to call or talk with my client.

Aspetti negativi:

The site sometimes crashes and the video recorder won't record despite clicking the button several times.

Loom 2023 Review

Commenti: As someone who was responsible to create a digital bank of 'how to do this, this, this, on a particular platform,' Loom saved a lot of time and resources for the work I was doing!

Aspetti positivi:

Probably the easiest way to record your screen and have you explaining stuff at the same time. It is super easy to get started with, easy to integrate with other platforms.

Aspetti negativi:

The user flow is pretty complex. It lacks seamless video editing option, which for me is adding more work to the final piece.

Help Me, My Team, & My Clients Many Hours of Time

The new AI powered features that have been added to the platform such as enhanced transcriptions, the new tagging feature that tags specific parts of your recording for easy review at a later date, and even the automatic video title generator so you do not have to create and modify a name for your recording anymore, if you chose not to. They all help me save a ton of extra time and adds new capabilities to my workflow, including my automated workflow through Zapier.

Aspetti negativi:

I think it could use some better video editing and post-production capabilities. They have added some new features lately, but there are still a couple more that I would like to see, even on the free plans.

Horrible experience with Loom - warning everyone

Commenti: I used Loom for 2 months, and experienced several instances of video recording randomly stopping. There was no pattern to it and no explanation. Randomly, it would just stop recording mid video.However, the infuriating part is that THERE IS NO INDICATION THE RECORDING HAS STOPPED. I'd just keep making video, hit save, and find out my 5 minute video was actually a 37 second video, and I'd just wasted a bunch of time.This has been an issue that has plagued me since day one, and I have attempted to reach out to support only to learn THERE IS NO SUPPORT. It's just a feature request system - it's a joke.This is a terrible tool, it has wasted hours of productivity, and I would strongly caution anyone from using it. It is unreliable and there is no support.

Screen recording feature randomly fails - you'll be making a video to explain something to someone, and recording will stop. However, you won't *know* recording has stopped, so you'll waste minutes talking away, hit save, and find out your video didn't fully record. Infuriating.

Easy way to share instructional videos with commentary!

Commenti: We have used Loom on and off for a couple years now. We are able to create instructional videos for other employees and share them easily.

Feature-rich tool with practical sharing options

I like that you can use it for free (with certain limits) to be able to make an informed decision before buying. It's also a very convenient tool thanks to the practical sharing options.

Aspetti negativi:

The browser extension, while seemingly practical, didn't work well for me at all. Most of the time I had to use the main app instead.

Loom is a Great Resource!!

I LOVE the record screen features. The mic/speaker quality is great, and I love being able to do just my screen or my screen and camera at the same time (picture in picture)

This is probably more because of the type of tablet/laptop that I used, but sometimes if I held it wrong, it would record upside down. A feature where you could “flip” your video would be fantastic!

Loom for Educators

Commenti: Its been amazing. As soon as you are done recording you have a copied link that you can quickly send to someone else. Its also really intuitive and takes very little or no training.

Its free FOREVER for educators. BUT its not an inferior product. Its an amazing product that we would probably pay for if it wasn't free.

Out of all my tools on my Mac, I feel like this updates all the time. Not bad by any means, outside of a very slight inconvenience.

I started using this app with the free trial. I use it on daily basis since I work a lot with customer service and it is much easier a very short video explaining any process. Everything is automated! The system will just cut pauses and provide title and description of the video with AI features. You receive notification real time from who watched the video. Among colleagues is also useful. Instead of creating manuals and long books explaining all process/rules in place you can just use Loom to show a new trainee how's the job and what he/she should be doing. As remote worker for an international company this has been a game changer. Even when I am off/away my colleague can go to the library of training and see how it is done. Absolutely brilliant app! I am happy to have now the subscription so I can extend the use of AI features.

Training and documentation made easier

Loom makes training and collaboration super easy. It permanently lives on my desktop, in case I need to show a team member how to do something. I think any team with Customer Success activities or that works with multiple digital tools that require onboarding needs to use this.

Aspetti negativi:

On Mac, it "bounces" off your Mac Deck frequently. It is always refreshing and it is distracting. Sometimes it doesn't save your preferences (such as recording with your mic off), but it is easy to adjust. Sometimes, it feels a little bit invasive. The Autotranscript is very useful, though most of the time is not 100% accurate or doesn't highlight the right topics.

Great tool, fun to use, easy, I had so much fun and it helped our employee training so easy!!

Loom for Teachers

Look presented itself as an opportunity during the COVID pandemic for me to screen record and share lessons to my students virtually. I prefer Loom to other platforms like Screencastify because of the ease of use. The platform is easy to manipulate, and I love being able to share a direct link to my videos. I used Loom to record myself reading novels. This helped my students to be able to “read” with me. As a result, I have continued to record novels to share with my students.

Having a limited number (free version) of recordings in your library is a downfall, but I would say Loom is worth it!

A video sharing platform that gives you a lot of control

The most amazing thing that I would like to share is that it's easy to use, access and make recording without facing any trouble. It optimism my work time. I hardly recommend others to use loom for their professional work.

Commenti: Loom helps to save time that would otherwise need to be alloted for meetings. It is easy to use and wonderful.

Loom is easy to use and makes editing all parts of a video easy. The teams feature also enhances collaboration with departments.

Annotations are available on education and pro accounts. Sometimes there is a bit of lag on editing capabilties-especially for more lengthy videos.
