Overall, I think the software was very easy to use for payroll and employee pay, benefits administration, performance reporting and tracking, onboarding, and employee management. I will say, the program was easy to navigate, which allowed for a very minimal learning curve, which I appreciated. > > **Inconvenienti**: I would not recommend TriNet if you have multiple companies that you need to manage within one system. This made payroll management and running reports quite the ordeal. I had to run the same report, in each company profile, and then combine the data. When you're doing this for 8 companies, it can be annoying. The other thing about TriNet was the payroll compliance issues. It would take a representative FOREVER to acknowledge receipt and then even longer for an answer. I had to stay on top of them constantly. > > TriNet is very user friendly, easy to navigate and great for a small business. It is intuitive and somewhat customizable. I can't say it was a great value for money. For less costs, we could have switched to UKG. Most critically, don't dip below their employee minimum. > > TriNet served its purpose as our first US payroll solution and handled the basics competently. The low employee minimum made them accessible when we were just starting out. However, the cost became hard to justify as we grew, and their inflexibility when we temporarily dropped below minimums forced us to switch.
