Aspetti positivi:

In passato ho usato molte app o software pef convertire in pdf e c’era sempre qualche problema: risoluzione, in alcune non mi faceva salvare i documenti ecc.. qui non ho avuto nessun tipo di problema, oltre al fatto che le conversioni posso farle da Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Corel WordPerfect

Aspetti negativi:

Ad ora non ho trovato proprio nulla che non va, non ho ancora esplorato tutto na fino ad ora è tutto fantastico e semplice

Editor PDF di buona qualità

Commenti: Indispensabile per unire, aggiungere pagine, modificare testo oppure estrapolare parti di testo.Indispensabile anche per convertire un PDF in Word/Exel

Facile e completo di diversi comandi specifici

Potrebbe essere meno macchinoso se l'attivazione e l'esecuzione di alcuni comandi fosse eseguibile con meno click

Kofax applicazione di discreto livello, migliorabile in molte parti. Assistenza remota e attivazione

Commenti: Buon programma complessivamente, ma la gestione delle attivazioni mi rende insicuro.Sto cercando alternative che non mi facciano dipendere da servizio clienti estero, perchè il software è importante per il mio lavoro e non posso rischiare di non averlo attivo random!

L'interfaccia simile a Office a differenza di Adobe PDF PRO

Aspetti negativi:

La parte dell'attivazione è terribile. Se aggiorni windows in maniera importante (ma stesso PC) ti chiede nuova attivazione. Dopo quattro attivazioni se il Windows ha una variazione importante nel suo Update come apri kofax ti chiede di attivare di nuovo. Ma non si attiva perchè hai esaurito le possibilità.Il software non ti offre (come altri programmi) la gestione delle attivazioni. E se per caso devi formattare tutto all'improvviso, quella installazione rimane attiva e se ti serve il programma su una nuova installazione (stesso PC) devi attendere di contattare in America il servizio e sperare che resettino le installazioni. Pessimo. Mi hanno detto di non aggiornare il sistema operativo, oppure di togliere Kofax prima di aggiornare e poi rimetterlo!! Folle.

The text editor. It needs to be more flexible and the text box needs to be smaller. Preferably expand as the user types instead of starting out across the whole page.

Kofax cheaper alternative to Adobe Acrobat

Commenti: The experience is good, but I miss Adobe Acrobat Pro

No annual subscriptions! No annual subscriptions! No annual subscriptions! I started with this software (version 3) because it came free with my Epson scanner Then I upgraded to the version 5. It does the job.

Aspetti negativi:

It is not the same as Adobe Acrobat. Adobe Acrobat is easier in several vital functions (like merging documents). Also, Kofax is slow to load when viewing only a document.

Not a great fit for everyday user

All in one power packed PDF maker/editor. Like the stamping and redaction features.

Aspetti negativi:

With more features come complexity and learning curve but the least likely thing is the bulkiness of the product in usage. In general, its slow and tardy.

Power PDF Advanced- the best PDF program and a great value

Commenti: Truly excellent. Customer support is first rate. I have recommended the program to many of my associates as well as competitors.

Aspetti positivi:

It has all the Adobe features plus every conceivable value-extra features for attorneys. The security features, the email archiving feature, the compatability with MIcrosoft programs-- all work seamlessly. The OCR quality is unmatched. It effortless converts documents to every conceivable format. It's a great program.

Aspetti negativi:

Individual licensees do not get periodic program software fixes and service packs.

An Essential Tool for anyone in business

Commenti: I have used Power PDF for more than 10 years and have found it to be a completely essential part of my daily work. I have it on my computer at work and also at home and I could not live without it.

The versatility of this product exceeds anything else available today.

Aspetti negativi:

I would like to be able to add pictures or other objects more easily. However, this IS possible and hasn't kept me from using Power PDF in this way.

Excellent Non-Cloud Product!

There are some tune-ups that are needed like the highlighting feature. But, overall, excellent!

Decent for the price but there are better options

Kofax accomplishes what it sets out to do. It is very functional with a lot of features.

Aspetti negativi:

The interface is generally clunky, complicated, and lags. While it has tons of functionality, there is a sense that the entire application could use quite a bit more polishing. Everything works, but could be easier. It works for my users and is cheaper than the name brand, but my users beg me to go back to the name brand because of these issues. I also hate the licensing. When you buy, you only get the version available at that time with no promise of even security updates. You better save the installation package because you likely won't be able to download it again.

Why I use Kofax Power PDF

Commenti: This product allows me to edit and modify PDFs which are the end product of my business. Without this I would be forced to use a MUCH more expensive competitor, or a second rate product.

Aspetti negativi:

Some of the user interface items such as sizing, rotating, and other tool bar items in a major competitor are easier to use.

More bang for your buck.

Commenti: We needed a fast reliable PDF program that could do then just view documents and this was the clear winner.

Aspetti positivi:

Power PDF is easy to use and full featured. I am not a fan of having to pay subscriptions for everything, so this is fantastic one-time purchase. You don't need a cloud account it just works.

Aspetti negativi:

There are some occasional issues with PDF forms generated from other PDF programs, but they are fairly easy to work around.

A very useful tool and does not require subscription to each feature individually

Commenti: I am very happy with Power PDF, it has met all my needs without getting a message that to do anything it will cost additional money as the default PDF reader does.

Power PDF is easy to use, fill out documents, combine documents and everything else.

Aspetti negativi:

It could use some more drawing tools and the ability to highlight multiple items without selecting to highlight every time.

A Really Good Product

Aspetti positivi:

Ease of use and feature rich. Price point is excellent when compared to Adobe Acrobat. We also tried Soda PDF Desktop 14 which was not as powerful.

Aspetti negativi:

Editing function difficult to use. There are instances where a fillable form needs editing and Koufax has trouble.

Great Product, Very Useful!

Commenti: I do a lot of billings every month and most of my documents are PDF, without Kofax Power PDF, it would take me 5 times longer to generate the billings and all the lien releases that are associated with them.

Aspetti positivi:

I have been using a PDF Converter for 20+ years and have introduced many people to the programs. Power PDF saves so much time with being able to type or edit in a PDF, I use it several times a day. The money saved by being able to work in a PDF rather than hand writing everything is amazing.

Aspetti negativi:

I don't have any cons except I would set up the toolbars differently and make that part more user friendly.

The only part I faced that was challenging was switching from a different program - that said, once I got the hang of Kofax, I was good to go from there.

I've been using Power PDF for years

Power PDF allows me to create and edit pdf documents at a cost much lower than Adobe's pdf product.

Aspetti negativi:

Resulting pdf document file sizes seem to be larger than other pdf create applications.

The conversion features are so useful, creating Word/Excel and fillable forms.

Converting documents into Excel is probably very tricky. Sometimes the results are not optimal, but even then useable.

Amazing Product & Design

Aspetti positivi:

In our law office, there is a lot of scanning and merging of files. Kofax makes it extremely easy to make Word docs into pdfs. It is super easy to print off the application and use the merge feature makes everything extremely easy!

I think the searchable feature could use an update since it's not 100% all the time
