The recorder only produces a huge file that needs to be opened in Camtasia and then exported, which makes long recordings very hard to manage. I did experiment with Camtasia Audiate, but didn't find it particularly useful. The AI voice generation took so much editing of the script to get emphasis in the right places, and still so clearly sounded like AI - I did a comparison with ElevenLabs, expecting similar results, and found that I didn't need to make any edits to the original script to get back something that sounded far more natural. Our training library is up to forty-odd videos now, we cover everything from visitor registration to board pack formatting, and new hires get the links on day one. Since the files stay on our own machines, compliance doesn't have much to complain about. Support even sorted a license transfer for us within a day.
