Commenti: Very positive, from inception to launch the team were great and continue to support us as and when needed. The platform is modern, easy to use and fully customisable.

It is very user friendly and simple to navigate and has helped bring 15 Local Authorities pool their resources to enable cross council mentoring. The support team are also brilliant.

Aspetti negativi:

The lack of ability to use one email address for both admin and mentor/mentee sign up.

Commenti: Absolutely outstanding! PLD have been exceptional in the level of service they have provided. They have listened closely to our needs and helped us to create a bespoke platform. I have been so impressed by the quality of service, attention to detail and professionalism. The platform PLD have created is an amazing tool which so many people will benefit from and be able to access coaching and mentoring. The overall experience has been brilliant. The platform is fantastic and has been customised to our needs. It is eye catching in design, engaging, easy to use and user intuitive. The platform is also accessible and has been through accessibility audit. The platform is packed with resources to guide people through every step of the journey. It features fantastic tools such as goal tracking. Overall it really is a fantastic product and we are delighted with it. The customer service we have also received from PLD has been exceptional.

It has helped us to facilitate nearly 500 mentees compared to 200 mentees, so we've been able to increase the number of young people we support annually by over 100%

The platform has been updated with our branding and we have been able to adapt programmes and templates to our specific requirements. It is user friendly, not only from an administrator point but for our members also. Packed with helpful resources and videos to guide users through every step of their journey, together with good reporting tools for us!

User Experience of PLD Coaching & Mentoring Platform

Commenti: The Coaching and Mentoring platform has enabled the organisation to smoothly transition from a small scale coaching offer, involving manual matching of coaches and coachees to a digital coaching offer which intuitively matches coach skills and expertise with coachee needs. This has resulted in an organistaion wide coach offer which requires reduced administrative support over time. The customer support provided from PLD has been of the highest standard, they welcome and act on feedback and are working hard to give customers the best possible experience. PLD are committed to a programme of continuous improvement of the platform's functionality and user experience.

Aspetti positivi:

Flexibility to build from scratch. Customisation capabilities of the platform. Intuitive. On-going Customer Support available throughout the build and launch of the platform, followed by regular review opportunities

Aspetti negativi:

PLD have included professional mentoring videos for their platform, however at the time of our system build there were no similar coaching related videos available. This is something that PLD are currently addressing. They have been proactive in seeking feedback from customers with coaching platforms on the nature and content of coaching videos to support both coach and coachee user experience on the platform.

Efficient and cost effective

Commenti: It is still early days of using the platform, what works really well for us is the engagement with supplier and how they take the time to understand our needs. Helping put best processes in place based on those needs.

Bulk matching could be improved on, for example bypassing some of the standard e-mails that are generated if that method is used for selection.

Commenti: Outstanding service, expertise and support. Our monthly account meetings are incredibly helpful to not only understand how our Platform is being used but to also explore how we can further exploit or develop new features to benefit our organisation and our people - PLD are always interested and accommodating.

PLD are an excellent company to work with, from procurement to implementation into business as usual, they have been friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and offer tailored support to meet our needs - often going the extra mile to support us. The Platform is highly configurable to our needs, with on going adaptability as we optimise how we utilise it. The Platform itself is clean and simple and easy to use both as as user and admin. The Admin dashboard and ability to configure reports is outstandingly useful - allowing us to at the touch of a button provide rea-ltime usage data/trends.

Great product - but we need more mentors to really get going with it

Commenti: Really good experience, lovely team that will do what they can to help - even encouraging and motivating you to get the best out of the platform and they are armed with your own organisation's performance so really is bespoke guidance. The mentoring journeys that have taken place have all given good reviews, so until the time comes that I can dedicate more time to it - it is doing a good job in the background.

At a basic level it runs itself, if you are a time-poor admin. The journey is well thought out, improving all the time and regular check-ins give me a boost to promote the service more amongst our membership.

Aspetti negativi:

It's not a fault of the platform - but you really do have to put a lot of effort in to recruit mentors. Otherwise it will sit there as a minor member service, and not realising its potential as the brilliant member service I know it would be if I had more time.

Peer to Peer mentoring within the profession

There has always been great support from pld including [sensitive content hidden] running a webinar session for us.

The system allows users to self-manage their registrations and the information that they feel is important about their needs and what they can offer. It is an effective way of matching the Mentees with Mentors. The monthly articles are also useful in promotion of the platform.

Aspetti negativi:

There are no Cons that I can think of and have recommended the product to other organisations.

Commenti: A brilliant platform that was set up with ease. Easy for administrator to run, great options for all participants and enables that flexibility for all in the support they require. Brilliant and supportive staff within PLD who will always be on hand to assist. It makes mentoring such a simple process for all involved.

Commenti: The reporting is excellent plus the team provided clear training and meet regularly to discuss our experience. We had to make some changes after the platform was implemented due to our website domain changes and these were handled quickly and professionally.

The customer service was excellent from the initial discussion through to after sales support. The platform is also pretty low cost and was implemented on time with no change to budget.

Commenti: [sensitive content hidden] and his team are incredible supportive and responsive to any questions or queries.

Aspetti positivi:

Having a self service approach so that colleagues could select a coach and /or mentor based on their individual needs was something we liked about the platform, along with the ability to have useful insight and intelligence about development need ands the challenges faced by colleagues. The suite of reporting tools was also something we've found incredible beneficial. Also being able to create our own resources for each of the journey stages meant we were able to replicate the resources we were currently using and develop them so that they were accessible to all.

Aspetti negativi:

At first the system was only set up for mentoring, so in the early days of testing we found that a challenge as the terminology focused on mentees and mentors only. Being able to to customize the resources was a huge help in overcoming this and [sensitive content hidden] and the team have been incredibly supportive in configuring the reports to suit our needs so that we're able to report fully on both programmes.

Commenti: Over the 3 years of use of this product we have had no problems with its functionality. We have regular 6 monthly reviews with the PLD team where we discuss and feedback our experiences of using it. Overall I cannot fault it or the support from the team. It's a good product. The platform is easy to navigate and in terms of branding it up with our logos and style it's simple and easy to use and to make changes.

Aspetti positivi:

The automation built within the platform is really useful. Having mentors and mentees creating their own profiles online is of great value. It takes the burden of admin away from us and places the onus on the users to develop their own profiles. Having everything in the one platform is great for resource efficiency.

Aspetti negativi:

From an admin and review of mentor and mentee registrations it would be better if we could get a view of the full stakeholder profiles to allow for quicker approval rather than just skeletal details.
