Basic ma troppo basic

Commenti: Per un uso davvero basic va bene. Se non si ha mai lavorato con l'audio ok, ma non si possono creare prodotti che suonino bene e alcune operazioni sono impossibili o eccessivamente macchinose. Va bene per iniziare ma poi si passa ad altro, per forza.

Commenti: Un grande vantaggio è il fatto che il software è gratuito e non ha problemi di crash. Se sei un neofita fa per te, altrimenti potresti aver bisogno d'altro!

Aspetti positivi:

Prodotto per principianti e multipiattaforma, cosa non da poco. Ottimo per uso basilare e può essere affiancato da daw professionali. Comodo per cambiare velocemente la tonalità di un file audio e sublime per l'esportazione. La uso generalmente per fare un mix di base. Sei Sei all'inizio è quello che fa per te.

Aspetti negativi:

Per chi è in cerca di un qualcosa di avanzato non la consiglio. E' un software sicuramente di ottima fattura per principianti e non trovo difetti in questo. Piuttosto ritengo che ci siano pochi effetti e l'interfaccia possa essere decisamente migliorata.

Capita spesso io abbia la necessità di editare file audio per migliorarne la qualità in software appositi, e la professionalità e praticità di Audacity è imbattibile. Semplicissimo da usare e super attrezzato con una funziona più utile dell'altra. Consigliatissimo!

Aspetti negativi:

A volte la fase di rendering prende un po' in base alla durata del progetto, ma dipende pure dalla forza del device col quale si utilizza.

Per semplici operazioni di editing audio

Commenti: Fa il suo dovere senza troppi fronzoli. Lo uso da svariati anni.Se si devono fare piccole operazioni di audio editing è probabilmente il miglior programma free in circolazione.

Aspetti positivi:

Sicuramente un prodotto immediato, di facile uso, tra l'altro multipiattaforma. Lo uso spesso in studio per operazioni basilari, affiancato a svariate daw musicali professionali. Buono per cambiare istantaneamente una tonalità di un file audio e per l’esportazione di formato. Sono disponibili anche funzioni di normalizzazione, cambi volume: lo uso prettamente per il mixaggio base.E' possibile esportare in mp3 dopo aver scaricato un plugin aggiuntivo.

Aspetti negativi:

La qualità è buona anche se non eccelsa rispetto ai prodotti concorrenti, ma si tratta pur sempre di un prodotto free. La sezione effettistica è veramente incompleta e il programma non è adatto per elaborazioni audio più rilevanti e profonde, nonché professionali.

Perfetto per semplici operazioni

Un buon software di audio per chi non deve fare chissà che cosa, per chi è sicuramente all'inizio e non ha pretese. Ovviamente poi bisognerà passare a qualcosa di più avanzato.

Aspetti negativi:

Solo per registrazioni, editing semplici...di base. Non trovo svantaggi.

Audacity è da sempre un valido alleato quando si tratta di editare in un qualsiasi modo ogni forma di audio. Si può scegliere tra molteplici opzioni, ed in pochi click il risultato è veramente ottimo.

Aspetti negativi:

Le opzioni di ripristino in caso di perdita di corrente/crash del programma non sono delle migliori. Mi è capitato spesso di perdere, durante la conversione, molteplici progetti.

Ottimo software per principianti

Audacity è diventato fondamentale per le mie registrazioni audio, programma di alta qualità e che mi permette di registrare e modificare le mie canzoni senza difficoltà.

Commenti: Utilizzato su vecchi PC per recording basilare è sempre stato un valido supporto, ma appena occorre intervenire sulle tracce con editing ed effetti si rivela limitato e adesso esistono molte alternative.

Semplicità di utilizzo, velocità e funzionalità generali per il recording, conversione rapida di formato.

Molto limitato al di fuori del semplice recording, interfaccia basilare, nessuna personalizzazione, altri software equivalenti offrono più strumenti.

The Help Center and countless available YouTube troubleshooting videos made it easy for me to learn Audacity in just one sitting. So I was able to get editing right away.

There is nothing to dislike about this software. It's unbelievable.

Great for basic audio editing and filtering

Commenti: I started using this when I lost my access to Adobe Creative Suite, and rapidly realized it was actually better suited to my needs. I wouldn't use it for mixing music, but it's perfectly adequate for taking a voice recording and prepping it for a podcast or voice-over. It's quick and easy, and it has a decent range of built-in tools and filters.

Commenti: I used Audacity personally when I was just beginning and it certainly 'wet my appetite' for the creative avenues digital music recording allows. Because it's FREE there's no loss to take a dive into the features. And it certainly delivers for the price. I have also used it in a classroom setting and it's also great place to start with students.

I don't like to criticize FREE apps...cause they are FREE. But...my experience it lags on the MIDI features. So if you plan to do live MIDI recordings of your parts, you will need to go back and do some MIDI bumping of your events cause it will struggle with proper placement.

Audacity is good for Audio editors and beginners.

A Great Audio Software

Commenti: Unlike expensive audio software, it's easy to use. I don't have time to learn a complicated software. I've used it for many years. I get high quality results for my clients and for my course studies which is a must. It's consistently being updated to give the best results. I can't do business without it.

Deserves way more recognition!

Commenti: Audacity is one of the most career-spanning software available. It's used by many professional studios, why wouldn't they? It does exactly what it advertises at a more than fair price.Wether I scratch some ideas in Ableton Live or multitrack in Reaper, I always keep Audacity nearby and opened ready to make quick edits and export them back into DAW. I also use it to record very long audio clips, edit them using the waveform view and tadah! Work done.

Audacity is the Swiss knife of audio editing. It has anything and everything you could need to chop, cut, copy, stutter or effect audio quickly and easily. It needs no manual (it has one anyway) since it's very intuitive and even a hobbyist will find some way to use it in a matter of minutes. It even supports VSTs, so bring your virtual effects library and enjoy!

Aspetti negativi:

There's nothing I would like Audacity to do that it doesn't right now. It's not meant to mix, multitrack or anything like that (DAWs exists for a reason) it's just good at what it does. Maybe the GUI could be more modern? But who does not like a dose of vintage!

Easy audio editor to start learning

It is easy to use. I saw a 5 minutes video and started using it for some audio cleanup.

I'm not sure if it integrates to adobe, and I ended up moving to adobe audacity. I liked the UI/UX better.

Best software for a beginner

Commenti: I am using it since 1 year or more. I usually use to record and edit my voice overs for my youtube videos. It gives me plenty of option like noise reduction, boost, equalizer etc which makes y voice over more fluent..

Audacity great for beginnners

Commenti: I was able to edit the podcast we were working on pretty easily, we even added some sound effects and fades in and out like you would on a radio show. seems like you can also do much more complex tasks easily too if you are knowledgeable.

I like how you can visually see all the tracks and it helps to go back when something sounds wrong. As someone who is not adept at editing in any sort I found it to be straight forward and easy to use. there are tons of videos online that can help you do whatever you are trying to do

I can be daunting of you are not a person who knows much about audio editing but you can choose to make what you do simple. In program help guides would be great.

Audacity - The Answer to online radio producers who are not inherently sound engineers!

Commenti: I have enjoyed my experience and have taught my entire staff complement how to use it and continue using all the options so they can learn and teach each other new tricks.

I love that I dont have to be a sound engineer to understand sound waves and how to create high quality sound and audio clips. Its simple to teach DJ's how to use Audacity to create their own jingles, voice overs and clean up their recordings for Podcasts. Their import facility and ability to add and move audio clips to where its most suitable within the file, is beyond reproach and I couldn't have done some of the radio interviews without it. Especially when clients make errors during recordings.

Very little but if I have to find fault its when you have to install the ff library and that's a challenge as it never works first time. It's quite a mission to get it installed. So I usually tell my DJs to convert their files to mp3 online and then import into Audacity. It doesn't seem to lose quality.

I Love Audacity
