Exenta Shopfloor
Commenti: Will sing the praises of Shopfloor it has made all aspects of our Daily Manufacturing Needs easier to access. Another Plus is Support is Great! I personally work with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] a lot and he is always helpful and understands the system with and the world of Manufacturing.

Unfortunately, I would be hard pressed to identify something that we like about this software.
Aspetti negativi:
While we have a laundry list of pain points with Exenta, what would be at the top of the "least" category is the level of customer support that is available from the Exenta team. The system is counterintuitive making our team, regardless of experience level, reliant on the Exenta team for guidance on processes, functionality, optimization, etc. We have requested one-on-one training on multiple occasions in which our staff, including our IT team, has been left with more questions and confusion than answers. When system functionality issues have been identified and support is requested, multiple emails and phone calls are required prior to any assistance being given regardless of the impact to our business. When we have escalated to higher management, improvements have been made however these have been short lived with no lasting improvement. At this point, we continue to use this program simply because we have invested a significant amount of time and resources in customizing it to meet our needs however, without immediate improvement in the level of service that we are provided, we will be cutting ties and finding more adequate solutions elsewhere.

customer service is terrific report builder System upgrades and mods always work first time and are easy to install reports and task scheduler are fast FedEx/OPS process and ability to print labels in sequence
Aspetti negativi:
Improvements could be made on the following: Mass Update filters could be expanded Mass Production cancel screen could use more filters Missing options to view outbound EDI raw data

Over the past 10 years the overall experience had been really good. Centralizing all the data into one system has been extremely helpful with the exception of the financials. We had some system issues on speed which have recently been addresses and resolved.
I am sure there are more features that can be launched or utilized so constant communication is important.
Yearly seminar is helpful to see what has changed but I think features need to be communicated more frequently.

When we initially purchased the software it gave us an all in one system with the exception of financials. We had a full blown operation so the fact that we had WMS integrated was awesome. System was pretty much easy to adapt to for most users. Easy interface and ability to limit users to modules they need. Reporting is good with the exception of some highly advanced reporting. Users want to run one report to obtain data and not several and have to put them together. Integration from a home grown 30 year old AS400 system was pretty good!

I think more top level reporting would be helpful or advanced reporting. We still pull multiple reports and have to combine them outside of Exenta. We need to work with your CS to see if any reports can actually do what we need as an all in one. We have looked to integrate with some external partners especially on the logistics side. When reviewing pricing was quite high for developing API's needed and all.

Commenti: We have realized Exenta cannot support a fast-growing business. They have hindered progress on many initiatives due to lack of support and slow communications.

Aspetti negativi:
Every single process is convoluted. The software architecture is extremely dated. There is no API integration. Every single customization is expensive. Support is slow and unhelpful. They provide no documentation.

Not a reliable software and expensive

there is always issues with exenta not reliable easy to install
Aspetti negativi:
Support was horrible until [SENSITIVE CONTENT] took over our account, she always follows up. After updates something always breaks and we get charged for fixing them. expensive support we get charged for fixing software errors. Issues occur and do not get resolved. if we had an issues we get charged for a TAN?

Commenti: support has got much worse since you were acquired by Aptean. Your support was always expensive but now they are unreasonable. If not for the $2.0M we have expended over the last 6 years, we would look for other software as our ERP.
