Useful Software, but could use some Improvement
Commenti: Overall, the experience has been good so far. I'm working with the RegFox Help Desk folks to create a landing page for a series of events so that we can keep individual events separate for reporting needs, but together in one location for our customers who may be looking for an event in Atlanta while another customer is looking for the San Francisco event.

One of my favorite options is the back-end automation feature where we can pre-schedule registration confirmations, reminders, and thank you emails. Our department is very busy and to be able to set these up in advance is super helpful so that the communication, which is required, is going to go out without have to go back and handle that work manually and in another software program. I do really like the customization of registration pages; this allows me to collect the info. that I need for my specific programming up front, and not have to follow-up with each customer to secure that info.

The customization is a good option, but there is a con to it as well. Building templates for our organization to ensure that each program has the same basic requirements seems to be a challenge since each department uses the platform a little bit differently. For me, it's imperative that I include a Q & A section during registration so that I do not have to track down that information later using emails or surveys. This piece is not needed for other events, so we're working on those templates to be better defined for the type of work each team does.

From A Nonprofit Point of View
Commenti: Overall regfox is a solid system. We can create events in several different ways and can run a variety of reports.
Aspetti positivi:
Regfox helps us manage our annual conference of nearly 300 people and our weekly events. Paid events payment processing is fast and easy. Events are easy to set up with a small learning curve.
Aspetti negativi:
Because we're a nonprofit that runs event year- round it would be nice to keep and analyze more information on registrants, for example linking events that a particular registrant has attended and record and link event registrants attending repeated events.
Effective Platform & Excellent Customer Service
Commenti: Overall, the system was easy to understand, and implement, but the lack of 24/7 customer service can be harmful to those events that are held on weekends. Additionally, for large institutions, set up and communication between representatives at RegFox can be somewhat slower than expected, which can present a challenge when you're on a tight deadline. However, the customer service (does not include the rep) during the week is phenomenal-- they are knowledgeable and speedy. The platform, once you get used to it, is easy to understand, but some of the conditional triggers are a bit clunky and hard to understand if you're not familiar with these types of systems.

Amazing customer service through the chat-- I had multiple situations where I needed fast answers, and the customer service team was knowledgeable, prompt, and accurate. The system is fairly easy to use if you're tech savvy, but if you're not, it might take a little bit of time. Otherwise, the system is straightforward and dynamic, offering a variety of options to suit everyone's needs. They are one of the few, if not the only one, that offers the ability to offer signable, verifiable waivers (instead of a terms of service checkbox). For registration, getting devices connected is super simple. Excellent product!

Some of the reps take a little bit more time than I'd like to respond to emails and queries. They have only one team member to specific departments, which means some processes for institutions may take a little bit longer (but if you're not in a rush, that's not a deal breaker).

Commenti: Customer service during pandemic unfortunately drove us away. While every business we interacted with gave us full refunds for event-related cancellations made at the start of the pandemic (spring 2020), RegFox was the one exception. As a NPO, we decided it was our responsibility to support our community during such troubling times, by providing full participant refunds on events we had to cancel. RegFox refused to refund fees we had paid them on the registrations that had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, thus positioning our organization in a net-loss. Months later, we were contacted by [sensitive content hidden], and told to book a call; “we want to hear from you; what can we do to make this right and get you back as a customer?” Optimistic about their outreach, we explained our situation again and communicated that our only request was for the registration “admin” fees be refunded to us, and they declined. As a result, we have found other lower cost registration options that do not cost a per-registration fee.

Product is great, but Customer Service is better!
Commenti: When I needed customer service and requested information, I received a response in a quick and timely manner. Not wanting to type a book, I had over-simplified my question at the start and was given answers that I knew would not work for me or that I had already tried. On my second attempt, I listed more details to my questions and the resulting response from customer service was "let's talk" followed by a link to sign up for times to converse/screen share. Because of some spiritual warfare, minutes before I was to connect with RegFox to answer my questions, the system went down, but [sensitive content hidden] was kind enough to send a quick email stating the issue and that she would connect with me when the system was back up and running. Within 10 minutes RegFox was back up and I was connected to [sensitive content hidden]. Thankfully she was able to find me the quick solution I needed.

Customer Service: I had spent a good number of days programming my first registration and utilized several RegFox videos as well as videos made by others in my parent organization about how to do certain specific items within a registration. My eyes were almost crossed with my looking at the actions page and which ones were working as expected and which were not. I encountered a place where I wanted to limit the number of sessions one type of registrant could select. I figured there had to be an easier way than to have to write actions for each of the 5 session options. I did struggle for a few days trying to find out how to connect with a representative from RegFox, until finally my eyes actually focused on the little chat button on the bottom right. Once I spotted that, customer service was wonderful. Even despite the power outage at the time of my call with [sensitive content hidden]. There have also been several emails since publishing just asking if things are going well. I was told by my co-worker that the customer service is wonderful and I totally agree. Thank you.

The actions page is a wonderful tool and it can be very helpful. I especially like the ability to change the order of the actions with a click and drag option. What might be helpful is a way to print or create a document that lists all the actions. Some way to see them as a whole. This may be out there, but I just copied the data and dumped it into a word document to see the group of actions as a whole. It was there that I found I had duplicated several actions.

Great Event Registration Software

RegFox is easy to use for both admins and users. We like that is is customizable and one of the few products in our price range that allows for individuals to register for breakout sessions.
Aspetti negativi:
I don't like that I have to filter registrants by current events to get a list that doesn't include attendees for past events. I would like to see an archive feature.

I run an in-person event every year. Other companies have come around trying to make us switch to their platform. That's great and all, but then when I put the costs and fees in a spreadsheet, RegFox beats them every time.

RegFox hits the mark for our music retreat. RegFox provides a great balance of ease of implementation, yet powerful features. And the low cost makes this uniquely suited to the needs of non-profit organizations like ours. Building RegFox pages makes me smile - over and over it surprises me how well it handles tricky corner cases.

There are lots opportunities to expand the set of elements for building pages. There are lots of opportunities to expand on Action rule options. But what's there now is impressive -especially at the current price. It would be great to provide a sampler library of implementations to get other ideas how to best implement more sophisticated solutions. It would be great to have examples how to use html to further customize solutions.
Great solution for small business

Nothing really, except our level we have been using is being phased out and we will no longer be able to afford to use it as a solution for us.

Commenti: Robust, scalable event management software that is good for marketers and event planners. Has the event-specific functionality you want to manage large and small events.
Aspetti positivi:
RegFox allows you to manage event of all sizes, from dozens to thousands (and we've done both!). The registration process is intuitive, with features that capture the nuances of event sales, such as one person paying for multiple registrants, and the ability to sell tickets at various price points. The check-in and nametag printing features make management at the event easy. The analytics help you understand which registration pages and campaigns are converting well.
Aspetti negativi:
I wish it had more robust analytics and ways to aggregate across multiple events. I wanted to get a picture of our overall sales, and I had to export data from each event individually in order to so. Richer Zapier integration would be helpful as well.

I am a photographer and use regfox for my mini session sign ups, one stop shop for both my clients and I. Customer support is top notch. The software is so easy to navigate and set up. So many different options gives the software incredible adaptability for any event. Great options for sharing on social media. Reports are exactly what you want and need. Fees are super competitive, no other software gives you so much for this price and they deposit it right into your account for you. Regfox is a no brainer.
It did everything we wanted it to do! Setting up was easy and the help function amazing!

The product is very flexible and getting set up is really very easy. Their interface is simple and intuitive and if you need help, their help search tool is excellent and their help videos even better (short and extremely useful to solve your problem). And the Check-In app is fantastic! It did exactly what we hoped it would do and made the day of the event really professional.

They only need to add a registration reminder email to their offering and they are in the process of doing that. Then they'll be impossible to beat.
Tough interface & product library; Great Customer Service
Commenti: Pros: RegFox was recommended from someone in the payment transaction industry for registrations. I like that you can customize all sections of the event, and once you spend the time in the beginning it is smooth sailing. You don't have to babysit. The analytics are WONDERFUL. I was contracted to set up an event for someone else, and they are dazzled by having that information to check. I had a great deal of questions and problems while setting up my campaign. It was a blessing to have a responsive customer service team. Cons: The interface is a bit clunky for me. While I am a online registration novice, I do consider myself a pretty tech intuitive person. The set up of my campaign was extremely difficult and user experience unfriendly. Until the campaign launched, I had to call or message the tech support with a plethora of questions daily. Establishing the gateway was easy once I found my information on "settings" but once again - It just was not initiative on the site. Also, there was a glitch on requiring first and last name when I launch initially. The biggest improvement opportunity I saw was for the communication follow ups. Perhaps it was my novice brain, but I was trying to use this page to communicate with the registrants without the use of email. I had a welcome packet to send out and I could not delete the campaign after it was sent out. It also was not clear to me it would not be send out past the first people that were signed up at the time. The problem was resolved, but left me feeling uneasy. Further explanation on how to use this section would be great. All in all - keep up the great customer service, and customization of RegFox. Look to create more efficiencies and clarity for the user while guiding through the platform.
Great System- Will Continue to Use
Commenti: We had been trying to find a system that was easy for our event attendees to use while also not forcing us to track down payments, and RegFox helps us accomplish exactly what we need. Some of the tools take a bit of getting used to, but the customer support has helped us overcome our hurdles. We really like the automatic payment charge feature, which allows us to get a deposit initially and charges the balance at a later date. This helps some of our families that don't have enough money to pay outright when they sign up, but it ensures we get the money they said they would get to us. We no longer have to track down payments, which saves us countless hours of work. Though the price can get steep for events with a higher cost, the time (and thus cost) saved on the part of our admin team is worth it.

We love how many custom options can be included in the registration process. We used brownpapertickets.com previously and were very limited on adding any additional details to the ticket price. This product is robust enough to take on a complex event with multiple offerings.

The initial setup took a little while to learn. I had to play around with it for quite some time to ensure it was fully functional.
Great DIY registration software - perfect for small to medium-sized businesses

Gives you amazing options for customizing every aspect of your event's tickets, and the registration page. We used to use Eventbrite, and this blows it out of the water.
Aspetti negativi:
The integrations could be better. Especially when it comes to Facebook tracking pixels. The way it's set up now, if someone clicks an FB ad with conversion tracking and registers for a different event, it still counts as a conversion for that ad.

I have been using Regfox for my event registration and surveys every month for the past 3 years and I love the platform! The user interface is very clean and intuitive. Templates make creating events super easy. What I like most about the platform though is the analytics. All analytics I need is in one clean page witrh an option to download the data for my own use.

I hope to see a more robust calendar integration.

Just one thing so far, which is that the font color in the confirmation is inconsistent, and I have tried to highlight the text and choose the color. I still get gray and black text, which must be due to the editor. Do I really need to know HTML to fix this? Should be easier. Other than that, I don't have anything to complain about.
